  4. ----------------------
  5. I don't get the idea of "Oh, Mike didn't tell all his friends that they're killer robots in his original future, so he's lying to them" thing some people have.
  6.
  7. I've said this in the past but... as Weaver said, it's no one's business but his own. Faz found out by accident and helped vindicate Mike's situation as real and not some kind of mental illness. But no one else **needed** to know.
  8.
  9. If anyone says they're perfectly honest with their friends and family, then they're either a psycho, an asshole, or a liar.
  10.
  11. Why tell Beanie, who's been emotionally and physically tormented by robots that she's got a robot duplicate of her in some other universe and, oh yeah, it's a yandere killer bitch, and so are her friends? Does anyone think that would honestly do her any good in any way?
  12.
  13. So long as Mike is still Mike, and he's making good with his friends, that's all anyone really can expect from a decent person. There's no "betrayal" in keeping things locked in the toybox and walking away from it for good. Especially when what's inside doesn't matter to Mike anymore and can only serve to make things worse for others.

  17. That sums up how I feel too.
  18.
  19. I just want to see some drama and what ifs though.

  21. I understand that in a story like this, which is largely exploring relationships and reactions, people have certain encounters and discussions they want to see play out. The story won't always include the events you want to see, and so, especially when it's a story you really like, with characters you really like, that can feel disappointing.
  22.
  23. Everyone has things they might want and the story might not go in that direction. It's understandable people might wish it had. I stand by Mike not revealing it, but I get the appeal of wanting to see the fallout of that revelation.

  25. Couldn't agree more with both of these honestly

  27. (Off topic, sorry, but this is the main reason my fanfic introduces another human, btw, to hopefully clear up any hypothetical concerns about the story blaming Mike or anything. I do not believe it to be in character for Mike to tell his friends anything at all about the photographs, unless his hand was basically forced. Besides, dealing with the whole regret-filled "it would be better for the roommates to have never known" is a much more dramatic topic to play around with when it can be misconstrued as "it would be better if this new kid never showed up and let Mike be happy with his friends in peace"

  30. is precisely what Im trying to cover)
