/ Bryan and Jessica got a divorce when Alex was six years old. Bryan won full custody of Alex and moved to Korea to reunite with his family after Jessica has separated him from them out of petty hatred for years. He then married a girl named Jiho in Korea and Alex gained a new stepbrother. Jiho was very nice to Alex, yet Alex hated her at first since she felt like Jiho was replacing her mother. Alex all in all just hated Korea and hated how her new mom and step brother couldn't understand English. After Alex learned that they attempted to learn English, she opened up and Jiho became not her mother, but her best friend. She and her brother got into fights often so their relationship is a little toiled, but they are still pretty close.

the way she treats him when she first moves in: Alex acts very chill. She casually walks in and throws her stuff down, then she simply looks over at him while smiling and says, "Im your new roommate." She nicely lays down the rules (such as don't touch my plants, dont talk past 12, ect.) and gives a thumbs up afterwards.
