  1. The Ship: http://deckplans.00sf.com/Ghtroc/720/Ghtroc_720_Lower_Deck_011112.gif
  2.
  3. Entry Ramp:
  4. The entry ramp spans several meters in length, connecting the ship's interior with the outside world from the 'chin' of this testudinal-shaped craft's upper deck. It serves as both means to board in atmo as well as a sealable, functional airlock in event of space walk. The hydraulic lift mechanisms sound as though they've seen better millennia, but aside from some suspicious scorch marks on the floor, the slate-colored tiles are pretty clean. Black, textured strips crosshatch the floor to reduce slippage. Access doors along either side of the entry compartment lead into the sensor compartments where sensors and communications tech can be serviced. It's hot, cramped, best left to a droid.
  5.
  6. Lounge:
  7. This is the 'relaxation' space afforded onboard this utilitarian craft and serves dual purpose as the galley, one of many compartments accessible via the central ring corridor encircling the reactor room - the heart of the ship.
  8. Aside from some suspicious scorch marks on the floor, the slate-colored tiles are pretty clean. The gray bulkhead matches the rest of the ship - boring, unassuming...occasionally scuffed and dinged. Seating for eight is situated around a triangular table in the portside corner via two lengthy bench seats. The seats are topped with assorted patchwork cushions that are slapped together from varyingly textured fabrics. A bit of vagabond style. On the other side this wedge-shaped compartment is the galley's hardware - a fridge, a food processor, caf machine, a sink, and pantry big enough for a hefty crewman to crawl inside that's stocked with bins of dehydrated rations. The minimalistic counter space and cabinetry are glossy black and molded to the contour of the corridor's curve. Embedded in the wall behind the bench seats are a pair of backlit rings harboring little sprigs of green herbs. These mini gardens illuminate the space with a soft, blue glow when the rest of the lighting is dimmed.
  9. A single couch has been dragged in here and bolted to the floor, parked rather awkwardly in the free floor space to add seating and a decent view /up/ for those reclined here of the viewport cut overhead. It's a slim cylinder of a skylight, carved up through the upper deck to reveal a glimpse of the dizzying array of stars overhead.
  10. Other compartments connected by the ring include passenger/crew berths, the community refresher, and port/starboard cargo holds as well as the cargo loader in the rear.

  13. Captain's Bunkroom
  14. The quiet tinkling sound of water pattering off leaves and stone greets you soothingly as you enter the Captain's lair, as does the permeating aroma of herbal incense. Muri the woman may appear a disorganized disaster of eccentric color and clumsy footwork, but her bunkroom is clean and orderly. Verily. The floorplan is a mirror image of the guest bunkroom located off the starboard end of the fore corridor, decked out in grey-metal hull and deck plating, but there's a soft carpet thats been laid over the floor, dark red in hue.
  15. A twin-sized bed is tucked into the exterior wall, bunk nook tall and long enough so that most humanish frames can recline comfortably enough. For the petite captain residing here, there's a surplus of space. Black silk sheets with red and gold embroidery are tucked neatly into place and a small shelf above the 'head' end is draped with a green scarf and houses a few small stone carvings. The wall adjacent to the pillowed 'head' of the bed (left of the entry) houses a desk that's built into the bulkhead. A simple computer terminal is rigged up here, decorated by a few weird little knick knacks, and a holo-simulated fountain burbles away alongside.
  16. Left of the entry is a built-in shelving unit. Assorted books - real books and manuscripts - and a few little storage boxes are stacked there, secured in place during flight by a mesh rigging drawn across.
  17. To the right of the entry is a large equipment locker bolted to the floor/wall that serves as a closet and past that is a narrow door leading into the small but fully furnished, private fresher. The three-piece washroom has been retiled in dark blue and a number of small, epiphytic plants are mounted on the shower walls.
  18.
  19. Crew Bunks:
  20. Cold metal floors and dark bulkheads encase the crew within their restful little quarters in each of the two crew berths on this ship. Each bunkroom contains four bunks that are built into the fore/aft bulkheads. They're large enough for the average humanoid to rest comfortable and each comes with a series of metal cabinets that can secure personal belongings.
  21. A small, round table serves as a desk in the middle of the room where it is fixed to the floor. A handful of games can be uploaded to its integrated, limited-storage computer.
  22. Near the main entrance to the crew bunks is another small door that leads into a small restroom where crew can clean up/wash up and do their business in peace.
  23.
  24. Ramp Compartment:
  25. Located aft of the cockpit in the " neck". This ramp is fully sealed preventing depressurization between decks. This upper ramp lowers to provide access to and from the central foyer in the deck below. This ramp allows astromech droids access to the cockpit. In the aft end of this compartment are the ship's main wiring trunks, the ramp control motor, and hydraulic pump.
  26.
  27. Cockpit:
  28. Located in the " head", the cockpit is a cramped quarter composed of 4 control stations and accessible by a quick scurry up the ramp from lower deck. The 2 forward stations control all ship functions; the 2 aft control stations can control life support, docking, loading, shields, sensors, and communication systems, but NOT navigation.
  29. Some of the meticulously polished panel covers feature tiny dents, betraying short tempers of former (or current) operators. The two aft station seats leave much to be desired stylistically, void of cushions, and white paint chipped to reveal the alloy bones beneath, but they function well enough as a place to park one's hind quarters and strap in. Chairs belonging to pilot and copilot sport a fairly fresh coat of twilight blue paint and are fitted with molded, gel cushions. Centered on the fore console, against the window is a small, carnivorous plant, mounted by a bracket, around which its roots have grown.
  30. A sturdy set of pressure doors link this room to the rest of the upper deck, including weapons control rooms, life support compartments, forward fuel compartments, and ramp compartment, just to name a few.
