  1. [20:13] It took all day, trying to take them all on at once, it was hard to do. She struggled quite a lot when it came to Miura. She knew he was strong, but never to that extent. Still, it wasn't enough to bring Thadria down, she was born a damn warrior. A barbarian with so much honor and pride.
  2.
  3. Her strength was unmatched between the three, every waking second of the fight, Thadria's power increased. As her soul and magic became synced with her body, it allowed her to achieve victories that would seem impossible.
  4.
  5. The woman cut and slammed her sword against Virgil, constantly knocking him back and around the battlefield. She was putting on a display for Miura, letting him witness his son's demise. As the battle came to a close, Thadria turned the blade to the side, hitting him as hard as she could with the blunt side.
  6.
  7. Thadria was once again victories in the fight between the three. "This is what happens when you fight back against Myllenoris- no, this is what happens when you try to challenge my strength. To forge a plan to let a prisoner of war escape, attempting to bring me down. This is your crime that you are now arrested for V." She spoke to him with a serious tone, she knew it was only a matter of time until one of them gave up.
  8.
  9. However, now it was time to deal with Betelgueze, who was still bleeding out on the side of the field. He wasn't going to last for long with an injury like that, unless healed immediately. Her gaze fell upon the man, unamused in the slightest. "Betelgueze, it didn't have to end like this. You should have stayed and waited out your sentence like the others. However, with the crimes you've committed and the lies you've told me. I cannot let you continue moving forward in life, hurting my friends in the process." It was something that needed to be done, even if she may upset the balance in the smallest of fractions, it would surely benefit Myllenoris in the long run.
  10.
  11. The woman leaned forward to grab the man, dragging him out o the middle of the field, with her blade drawn. "Speak your last words Betelgueze, I will grant you that much." She said softly.

  15. [20:25] Edelaide Astaret whispers something.
  16. [20:25] Edelaide Astaret whispers something.
  17. [20:25] Edelaide Astaret whispers something.
  18. [20:25] Edelaide Astaret whispers something.
  19. [20:37] Eternal peace. Was it worth fighting over? Someone would inquire. But, there were certain individuals that did not question it. Betelgeuze, was one of the birds that soared into hellfire. Did he die? Perchance, it depended on the definition of death, did it not? Betelgeuze was the victor in this war, even if his opposition ended victorious in the battle.
  20.
  21. Eternal peace was achieved through unity, through forgiveness and understanding. Miura, that had fought for the valiant one, would come to witness the aftermath of his struggle. Covered in blood, with a punctured gut, the oracle did not even remotely feel pain.
  22.
  23. No... Betelgeuze felt loved, for once in his life.
  24.
  25. Everything had built until this final moment. Eden's garden would be plucked of its golden flower, but it would not be the last of its kind. There would come many more after. Betelgeuze's certainty was unwavering, even in death, as his eyes met with the one that had concluded such a fate.
  26.
  27. It was etched in stone, that the lord of light would perish on a dark day. A day radiant, filled with stars to grace the eyes of his believers, believers of eternal peace. The saint laid out onto the ground, his eyes settling onto the ether that had blessed this journey.
  28.
  29. Speak your last words...
  30.
  31. These words, were mystified for even the oracle, that had seen through the darkness of his enemies for what they truly were, souls blessed with desire. A desire for love, a desire for peace, a desire for comfort, a desire for understanding. Betelgeuze's back would arch, as he'd be seated before the executioner of his inevitable fate.
  32.
  33. What were his words, but filled of light's radiance? His words ran through the air, as if peace blessed the world with grace. Hopeful, unwavering kindness were in these words. Ios, had blessed his soul, that was certain. Maltziel, had guided his being and it led to inspiration.
  34.
  35. That was all that fate was, the diverging paths of choice, the choice that would seal the end of life.
  36.
  37. "...I thank everyone that believed in the unwavering light that guided them to this point. Perhaps, the light guided you until this point. Yet, it is your light that has guided mine.."
  38.
  39. Betelgeuze's weakened legs would heave, whilst the oracle stood tall. The blood rolled across the floor, as he took one step after another and headed to his executioner. He was prepared to die with honor, for his people. He had to give them something to believe in, even in death. Light did not fade, never would it waver. Even in what looked as the end.
  40.
  41. Once he stood before this executioner of fate, he'd grip with his weakened hands the metal. The metal was led straight for his heart as he gazed with starry back into hers. Thadria would realize then, that this was not the enemy. Betelgeuze did not desire bloodshed,he desired true peace.
  42.
  43. The light shone radiant from his irises, while the oracle returned a smile to his executioner. That smile, was given with nothing but understanding of one's role in this life. Betelgeuze knew all perspectives, even of those that were misguided. Light was all-blind and darkness, even more-so.
  44.
  45. "Dear friend... Be light, be hope.. Faith in mankind... shall let you soar..."
  46.
  47. It was then that the blade was slipped into his ribcage. The oracle's light dissipated, conjuring a pillar that ascended and flickered in the abyssal ether. Where was the light going? But to the heavens, where paradise truly resided. Betelgeuze, was heading for the stars that had watched him through this journey.
  48.
  49. The body of the oracle would fall to the ground, holding a bloodied blade in his own heart. No, in its heart. It was nothing more than a shell, the soul had ascended to another plane beyond theirs. Yet, it was his light that lived on in those that followed his will...
  50.
  51. Betelgeuze and his unwavering light...
  52.
  53. ...Would never perish.
  54. (Betelgeuze)
  55. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  56.
  57. [20:43] Ora and Urlen would be running throughout the forest, in search of Thadria. The spirits would have poked Ora, letting him know that danger was near. He would become curious, wondering what exactly was going on? Then... he would hear Thadrias name in a whisper.
  58.
  59. He would then go to Urlen, asking about Thadrias whereabouts, only to find out she wasn't even there. He would grow worried, and so... that is where he and Urlen started their hunt to look for their friend.
  60.
  61. It was a tiring journey, taking them sometime before they would even spot a peak of Thad.
  62.
  63. Though, when they would arrive, they would see Betelgeuze deceased, and V captured. Wait, V? No... Ora would grit his teeth, what was Thad doing? He would call out.
  64.
  65. "Thad! Wait! What is going on? Please!"
  66.
  67. He needed to know, this all seemed to happen before the two of them could arrive in time to witness anything.
  68.
  69.
  70. (Ora)

  72.
  73. [20:43] She would rush after her sister hoping to find her hearing sounds and weapons of a war raging she would follow the sounds with her excellent hearing and rushed in she would crawl out from some bushes to see thadria and a dead betel then the man captured behind her just what in the hell happened as she would sigh but smiled seeing her sister safe and sound
  74.
  75. "Gods im so exhausted but sis must be exhausted I tried to follow as best as I could sis to help but seems you have it covered What happened"
  76.
  77.
  78. She observed the familiar corpse then perked a brow glancing to her sister
  79.
  80. "So im guessing ill need to dig a hole uh if any thing can I keep the loot

  83.
  84. [20:49] Armondt was going on a relatively simple, silent stroll past Myllenoris. Without many events of note to remark upon, the courier passes through a thicket he normally beats past, and proceeded to watch an entire mortal fight, stakes and all, transpire. The already-taciturn man was brought to a pause, and had absolutely nothing to say as he beheld what was going to be a pitched struggle for survival. One stood, and one fell.
  85.
  86. But that flowery speak was best saved for remarking on animals hunting other animals in the wild. Not this. Not witnessing actual people actually meet their respective ends. It was a little different to see a man's life extinguished. He had no idea whose sides fell where. Where anyone's alleigances lie, nor the context of anything here.
  87.
  88. He didn't need to. Armondt was watching a life flitter off and die, and that was enough for him to ball his fists and render his knuckles white. He decidedto keep himself at arm's length. Not out of any fear of reprisals, but because despite his rubbernecking, he kept a throughline of respect for a man down.
  89.
  90. The drifter clenches that bare-knuckled fist, places it against his chest, and quietly sends his regards to the stars to bear the fallen stranger, Betelgeuze, to a final reward befitting his stature, whoever he was. A respect owed to any single person who chose to go out with such grace.
  91. (Armondt)
  92. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  93.
  94. [20:53] Urlen followed Ora through the woods, a frown on his face. What he had heard him tell him, of his worries, of what whispers he might have been hearing...it worried him. Thadria- why was it Thadria, why did she disappear? he grit his teeth, eyes looking around as they kept wandering through the forest in search of their friend.
  95.
  96. Then They saw it. Thadria, Virgil seemingly ..unconscious, maybe, or captured. The steel eyes then wandered to a corpse. A light that had faded.
  97. Urlen's blood froze as he recognized the golden hair from afar.
  98. Betel. Dead. The seeker of peace, on the ground, dead. His eyes wer eempty for a second, before he started to walk up to the scene, even pushing Ora to the side.
  99.
  100. "Thadria. what happened?", no... emotion. Nothing seemed to be visible on his face. He could guess what had happened. He knew what happened.
  101.
  102. Betelgueze's escape attempt failed. and Thadria punished him for it. he approached, the steel eyes looking over the place, though the secluded woods around here, to see Virgil. He was one of his disciples then, that wanted to free him. It was all a place. His eyes wandered to the still form of Betel. he frowned. and took a deep breath. Good men were the first to fall.
  103.
  104. "Rest, now..."
  105.
  106. The gaze wandered back to Thadria, seeing her tired and.. bloodied, not her own blood.
  107.
  108.
  109.
  110.
  111. (Urlen Inavyre)
  112. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  113.
  114. [21:01] Defeat unlike any other. What was it that drove Virgil to do this in the first place? It was his love for justice, and wanting to rid the world of evil. The key to that was Betelgeuze. A man so holy that none on Eternia could match his righteousness, or anything he even stood for. He never stood for any individual man or city, he stood for the name of justice and eternal peace. It was certain that Betelgeuze was going to die, no matter what other way he viewed it. A prisoner attempting escape that was only futile. Virgil, a mere fourteen year old boy trying to a job that was for someone much older and much more experienced.
  115.
  116. If only he was stronger...His eyes slowly closed, knowing he was losing his consciousness. The scent of blood was in the air right before his passing, it could be either one of them, but Miura wasn't beaten as badly as Betelgeuze was. Both of his eyes closed themselves, passing out from the damage done to him. His capture was certain, there was noescape for him anymore. Exactly like Betelgeuze told him, it was his fate. His fate wasn't to escape like the oracle, his was to rot in prison, or even execution at this point.
  117.
  118. Resolve. Resolve does nothing, what accomplishes things in this cruel, cruel world is power. The power to break down any wall in front of you, to overcome any challenge...And that is exactly what Virgil lacked. That same power that Miura had...If he was only as strong as Miura, he'd have a fighting chance. Fate had a funny way of telling Virgil he was useless.
  119. (Virgil)
  120. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  121.
  122. [21:09] Soon leaving this canvas of green ornate of multiple colors. Teraphims, willowing petals underneath the moonlight, joining that eternal dance with the thin blades of grass. Thin green flore soon crushed underneath her sandals as she walked under the forest, the trail of star dust following the lupin.
  123.
  124. Walking as she always did, following the winds as a free bird that spreads it's wings to find that unseen future. To allow the words to be written upon her existential book, another chapter whilst grains of the existential hourglass still falls.
  125.
  126. Eyes of grey exploring the world which maintains her existence... A grey soon growing dim by the passing glimmers when it made to first acquaintance with the body of the Oracle soon tainting the grass with his blood as it lies over the ground. Her eyes met the man being executed before her.
  127.
  128. Her steps following the wind soon abruptly stopped, lacking the desire to intervene. She hid behind a tree and- watched... Her handgently grasping the tree whilst her head tilted in order to have a sight on it.
  129.
  130. Acceptance of fate that is...
  131.
  132. Her whole tale was about losing people... Gaining trust, even giving birth to a child and even... Each chapters of her story written ends with loss. She keeps losing, losing. Even despite her attempt to keep that little sunshine, gifting her of it's warmth during her existential travel, she fail. No one can bring the clouds from hiding the sunshine, it is impossible.
  133.
  134. The hand grasping the tree soon tightened. She could not stop thinking that even if fate can never be shattered and it merely is, fate... No one can bring a grain to fall from an hourglass, no one can bring days of rain to happen. Upon her feminine visage drew itself an expression of sorrow.
  135.
  136. … Even...
  137.
  138. She could have prevented it... If only she was there at time, she could have done something, but no. She was not. Fate is being naturally cold as usual, she had come to perceive herself as the tree holding willowing leaves whilst growing between seasons. When willowing leaves falls and rot each winter. There is nothing else left then memories and even this day. Even for Betelgeuze, there will only be memories left.
  139.
  140. He was the seed to the golden flower amidst the wide garden of her memories. This flower is still alive, having it's petals to ornate it- until the last grain falls...
  141.
  142. The expression of sorrow upon her visage soon shifted in that same usual fatigued glare. Greyish eyes glimmering as a sky full of it's star soon hid behind it's pupils, allowing a tear to fall upon cheek. She reminded his words, understanding... The light which flows from the crown of flower over her head soon glew to wrap her form. That light was far from bring, yet the light smile blooming as the petal of the golden flower amidst the garden of her memories was it's days of days which nourished it.
  143.
  144. Like a free bird, she will once again follow the flow of the wind, another tear that blossomed to fall upon her cheek as she soon stepped away, gifting Betelgeuze of a last glare. This man gifted her of a feeling she had never felt before. Not only the one to be truly understood, but the feeling of warmth amidst a world too cold to be lived happy without aid.
  145.
  146. Then she stepped away after a torrentful blow of the wind. Her gaze soon facing the opposite direction from Betelgeuze, to speak simple words...
  147.
  148. ".... You will never be forgotten... Spark of light...", she says after another blossoming tear which she allowed to fall upon her cheek. Falling as a single petal of the golden flower within.
  149. (Zefa)
  150. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  151.
  152. [21:12] The blade retracted. It fell, digging into the ground after having suffered a face-first impact from a beam, Miura's worst blunder to have ever surfaced. Arrogance blinded his movement, telling him to advance forward. If he had done so, Betelgeuze could be free from a war he did not want to fight. From a war that he shouldn't have even been involved in. Not only that, but Virgil could finally live past a life of deception, and fall back to normality.
  153.
  154. Yet... Miura did not have the body to proceed. Injuries ridiculed his body with mishaps, stopping him dead in his tracks.
  155.
  156. 'THUD!'
  157.
  158. The Swordsman dropped, his face planting right into the grass beneath him. All he could do was grit his teeth, whilst grasping the blood-stained mud beneath him. A crimson liquid rich in hatred drenched his face, obscuring his vision somewhat. It slowly drizzled down his iris, and yet, he could still make out the fate of the two.
  159.
  160. It hadn't been over. In a final attempt, the clutches of his hands gripped the fallen Sword tightly, and with that single eye of his, he swore revenge, as it slowly cascaded his eyesight.
  161.
  162. V, who had imitated the Druid still dared to clash in vain. All the whilst, the Oracle communed his final thoughts on reality, before he ascended to death.
  163.
  164. His 'Son', Virgil was forcibly captured, and Betelgeuze, a comrade of his who wanted but peace, was murdered in the conflict of another man's name.
  165.
  166. 'Dear friend... Be light, be hope.. Faith in mankind... shall let you soar...'
  167.
  168. It couldn't be. The first words Miura and Betelgeuze shared in their meeting, had found its way into this festival of blood?
  169.
  170. This event served as a reminder to him that the World wasn't pleasant, despite it's colourful beauty. There wasn't anything beautiful in blood, nothing worthin death.
  171.
  172. Although, his rage came next, akin to that of a Volcano. Miura's anger had laid dormant until this very moment, and that same Volcano erupted at once, releasing all his pent up fire. His veins pulsated, protruding directly out of his forehead.
  173.
  174. "This worl-world.. ain't beautiful. Nothing... about it... is beautiful. . ."
  175.
  176. Slowly, he recuperated. It was a miracle that he could still stand with an incapacitated body, much less speak after receiving a beam composed of energy to his body.
  177.
  178. He physically may have shuddered, but his will did not waver. Betelgeuze would have wanted him to overcome this, and take flight. Burn hotter than he had done before.
  179.
  180. Everyone had made their condolences to Betelgeuze, mourning his death, yet Miura could not. Just as before, he carried the burden of the many comrades that died in his name.
  181.
  182. Under his breath, he muttered:
  183.
  184. "I'm coming for you. . ."
  185.
  186. The message's meaning was unclear. Was it towards Thadria, or was it towards Virgil? Only guesses could remain.
  187.
  188. Regardless, the source of fire that was Betelgeuze had extinguished, overstaying its welcome. It was put to an end, dimming out the light in Miura's sight of vision.
  189.
  190. Just like before...
  191.
  192. (Miura)
  193. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  194.
  195. [21:18] Deco says, "--"
  196. [21:18] Deco says, "Oh what the shit-"
  197. [21:19] Thadria had finished the deed already, staring at his lifeless body as if she was examining it. She didn't feel sad or regret, she felt nothing at all. Even with her hands stained in blood, it didn't bother her.
  198.
  199. "Myllenorians, let's head back."
  200.
  201. As she turns towards Miura who managed to escape.
  202.
  203. "Come for me if you life, but you will meet the same fate. Come for your son, you'll be arrested. Choose your ending."
  204. (Thadria Apeiros)
