Two Temples

Why was everything so big here? The desert was fucking massive and part of Nathaniel was worried that the city was just as large if this walk was anything to go by. It was a beautiful city though. Just one of the walls was probably worth more than his family's cabin and everything in it. Opulence was obviously the motif in Kharidian, which was surprising considering how... unsavory slums were.

 He raised an eyebrow at the way that Scarlett had snatched her own bounty poster down, getting the feeling that this was a fairly common occurence for the rather honest pirate woman. "I have a question." He asked as the three of them pushed the doors of the bar open and walked into the Two Temples. "What's a pirate doing in the middle of a desert? Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?"

 Octavia scanned the patrons of the Two Temples as Nathaniel and Scarlett talked, frowning and wondering who exactly here had summoned for them. Or rather why? She got the feeling that her father had something to do with it, but she couldn't be sure. She sure hoped not. As  much as she appreciated the fact that the man was always looking out she found him to be a bit overbearing.

 Annoying was probably a better word for it but her mother had reprimanded her the last time she'd called him that.

 Octavia shuddered at the memeory as the hooded figure in a shadowy corner caught her eyes. "Nate." She called and motioned towards the figure. "Over there."

 "Right."

 They made their way over to the figure and took a seat in their booth. "Excuse me-"

 "I'll assume you were the one responsible for the little... note over the in the slums."
