- Hello, I'm Kino! My fascination with the Monster Hunter series started with the very first game, and it has been a frequent subject of my artwork even now. I've involved myself with other fans since Minegarde and Reign of the Rathalos, and I've also dabbled in the Japanese community and with Capcom themselves. I've won a reward from Capcom in 2010, and just recently had Capcom commission artwork from me!
- I own a Discord channel for people to show off and buy/sell their own Monster Hunter plushies and statues, and I frequently host small gatherings of Hunters in Cali. These gatherings allow me to meet many fans of either my work or Monster Hunter in general, and we compare favorite monsters and games (mine is White Fatalis!).
- Over the years, I've built up enough of a sense of fairness from meeting and debating other fans, which is why I was chosen as a Judge this year. I believe I can deliver an unbiased review of all of our contestants, allowing those that truly deserve to win, will.
