  1. *BAM*
  2.
  3. The final shot of Keith's .357 rings out throughout the Valley of señora gaseosa. The loud shot echos throughout the valley, followed by the loud, painful grunt of the alien guard.
  4.
  5. "Gloria al senior brown!"
  6. "Glory to Mr. Brown!"
  7. "Three cheers for Brown and his troupe!!"
  8.
  9. The townsfolk of señora gaseosa all cheer and cry their names, each and every one of the names of the party are chanted and called out. With that, Renaldo was able to drive with the roads clear, and the party was able to drive to Santa Fe safely.
  10.
  11. Unfortunately, the party's efforts were for naught... In the blink of an eye, from what appears to be large worm holes, the large obelisks of the Combine armada appear in the sky. Alien grunts and soldiers decend from dropships and gunships of disgusting, synth-like creation... And the 7 hour war begins.
  12.
  13. The entirety of the party, or what is left, surrenders to the Combine...
  14.
  15. These are their final epitaphs.

  20. JAMAINE JONES (Karma: +10)
  21. Having been late to the party, but certainly pulling the weight he could, he helped as much as he possibly could. Whether that meant repairing generators, clearing a path, or securing a power line. He did what he could. His charisma, and his maintenance-savvy know-how landed him a weak job in the Civil Worker's Union. To this day, Jamaine questions whether or not what he did was worth it, but at the very least, he is thankful for his life. And he is thankful for duty. Though he does not fully support the ideals of the Universal Union, he finds it a spell better than siding with the rebellion.

  23.
  24. LYN FISHER (Karma: -7)
  25. Though frustrated and impatient, Fisher is nothing if not resolute and crafty. Her medical and technical knowledge of computers proved worthy in the face of action, and her deeds did not go unseen... Both brave and bad. Her violent tendencies leaded to her detainment eventually under UU rule, but after months her path to glory was through loyalism. After a number of years, Fisher would finally rise to power as an Administrator's Assistant. One calm morning, whilst in place for the Administrator, Fisher was taking letters to read for the afternoon. Upon openning one of the more neatly and beautifully packaged letters, her finger was pricked on the rather sharp edge of the paper... A third of her body was paralyzed, and she silently (though rather painfully) died in her paralyzed state. The autopsy reveals that a specific kind of poison was used to dispatch the budding administrator.
  26.
  27. Though Fisher could not read the contents of the letter, she could read who it was sent by. Cristopher Williams.
  28.

  30. CRISTOPHER WILLIAMS (Karma: 0)
  31. Chef Williams lived a hearty and rather happy life working at Black Mesa, despite the lack of proper ingredients most of the time. In the end, all he wanted was to go home. And home he found. Trying to always make the best of his situation, he became an artist as well, and lived a quiet life as a loyalist in City eleven. He has sent many letters to the CA in hopes that one day his will get read. Though the Civil Protection force believes the letter that killed Lyn Fisher was a fraud, and sent only to frame the high ranking loyalist, they would be wrong. It was in fact Williams's letter that killed Fisher. And he wasn't even aware he had spilled overload on the page before sending it in.
  32.
  33.
  34. KEITH BROWN (Karma: +35)
  35. A freedom fighter at heart, Keith Brown valiantly lead his party through the Black Mesa Research Facility with pride, valour and integrity. All of his sacrifices were selfless, and in the name of progress and healing for his troupe. Keith Brown however, disappeared from the party when they approached Santa Fe during the Seven Hour War. He was nowhere to be seen as the Combine detained and arrested the rest of his troupe, and everyone had assumed he had perished, as no man as good as him would abandon his party. However, if rumors are to be believed, Brown is still yet fighting the good fight as a Resistance lieutenant, working with the underground railroad to get more and more citizens out of the city.

  37.
  38. MAX POWER (Karma -11)
  39. Max power was crushed by a dropship upon it's landing.
  40.
  41.
  42. NOAH SOREN (Karma: +20)
  43. Noah Soren was a distinguished recruit at Basic Training, and it was not hard at all to see why he was considered for the Hazardous Environment Containment Unit. Soren did not see the HECU has anything more than perhaps a more advanced Navy SEAL, and he was glad to aid his country in any way possible. Killing civilians did not mean aiding his country to him, and him and his partner Patcher did all they could in the name of justice, even if that meant deceiving their unit. Soren's legs were unfortunately unable to be saved, and he disappeared without a trace. Trade secrets within the Universal Union spark stories of experimental transhumanism testing, and if rumors are to be believed, the Universal Union has perfected their transhuman soldiers with the research done to Soren's other miraculous body.
  44.
  45.
  46. SAM PATCHER (Karma: +18)
  47. Sam Patcher, much like his comrade in his squad, did all he could to ensure the survival of both his friends, and the survival of his country's integrity. He fought hard against the Combine upon their invasion, but it seemed almost impossible to kill him. Beaten, shot, stabbed, clubbed - one may think he's a modern day rasputin. His body has been left scarred, his mind has been left hazy. He eventually disappeared, and no one is quite sure where he is today.
  48.
  49.
  50. ROD JOHNSON (Karma: +5)
  51. Rod Johnson was a man with a goal. To get the H.E.V suit. He would go to any length to do as much, though that shouldn't mean he should forsake his comrades for his one calling. He had done his best, however his struggle to get the ultimate in combat armor eventually lead to him disappearing, and never seen again. Rumor has it he is still lost in the border world, roaming with the wild life. And taming it.
  52.
  53.
  54. GUILLERMO GUILLERMO (Karma: -6)
  55. Guillermo was a man trying to survive, and survive he did. Like many of his troupe, he did his best to ensure the survival of others - even if that meant the demise or death of people not in the troupe. Having never taken off his hazard suit, when the Combine forced him out of it, they saw many defects in the skin and flesh, likely from the effects of radiation due to a broken hazmat suit in his line of work. Deemed as a freak of nature, he was put down.
  56.
  57. WINONA WATANABE (Karma: -5)
  58. A liar and a cheat, but still noble wtih her intentions. The party only questioned her presence only once, and she was able to wave it off successfully. No one questioned her name despite her appearance, no one questioned the fact that she had never uploaded the launch codes, and no one questioned the fact that she mentioned there was no such H.E.V suit in the Xenian node in the research facility that they had traversed through. Winona left the group shortly before they departed from Santa Fe, and was never heard from again.
