Honestly this chapter was slowed down due to emotional issues, one was there was a war happening between my favorite Tlers and second i was sad about DanMachi being droped(though not 100% sure) due to DMCA. *sigh* can't work properly OTL


Ep 11 Mysterious Ghost Mansion 1 (TL: realized that Ghost Mansion of Mystery this sounds kinda weird)

It seems the Quest document in Roel's hand is about Ghost subjugation.
Even at Caves of Hell I fought Ghost-type monsters but, my sword isn't effective at all thats why they are terribly troublesome as enemies.
but, I wonder if the ghost there is a monster.(TL: the ghost is written at the 2nd line is in english while the stuff written after and before that is in jp "yurei"which also means ghost -delete-)

"Well, this is impossible for now. Only magic are effective against Ghost-types, that i still haven't been able to use yet."

"I can use magic attacks you know"

"really?"

Its was unexpectedly surprising, is what her face said, she looked at me and the Quest documents on her hand. Now that i think about it i haven't told her yet. I can't use that many spells. I cannot handle all attributes and my limit is only at intermediate level of magic. Thus, I can't use any support or recovery magic.

"if thats the case, maybe we should accept it. It seems that we need a little more to become C rank."

"is that so?"

"there is something like points for all quests, they say If you gather those point you can rank-up. it is something like a secret of how many points does the which quest have and how many points you have gathered. and earlier the Guild person, there were signs that we only need a few more to be C-rank you know"

"So thats how it works, then if its like that we need to work hard"

We decided to take up the quest. but there were others that also took took the quest.

"you accepted the quest earlier too right but you know because I'm quite anxious if you are going alone thats why it would be good if go together someone who is a fighter"

Saying that the Glasses guy introduced him to us, it was the eerie person that we went with last time as a relief team at Strange Plains. his pointy hat and muffler completely covered his face. His body was also covered with a mantle and robe, I can't properly grasp his age. tentatively, he said that he was grateful so he might be not that bad person but still he's eerie.

We immediately went towards the mansion where Francois-san was waiting. Its my first time seeing such a huge building, you can call it amazingly spacious to the extent i wonder what in the world they plan to do in here was the question that I harbored within.
I wonder many tens of the roel's living room can be entered in, this was that big.
We knocked at the gate that leads in inside, then from inside of it an old lady came out. Golden necklace, golden bracelet and ring, ornaments with sparse jewels and eye hurting dress, she has taste of pretty much gaudy red and was fanning herself. (TL: the last part was pretty confusing 極めつけに赤色の派手なセンスでぱたぱたと扇いでいる)
I don't know if it that was fashion, but I think her taste wasn't that good.

"So you're the Adventurers that took the quest. come in"

The old lady with the high pride crudely let us in the Mansion. The ceiling was as two stories high and there was a chandelier hanging from there. I don't stand but there were lined up stone statues that are like vase holding flowers at the corners of the guest room. As we sit on the soft sofa that sinks our backs on it , we listened to the details of the conversation.

"I wonder if you guys quickly exterminate it? please do it at once"

"this ghost, where is it?"

"I don't know"

"yes?"

Roel was somehow able to agree ,but the i didn't understand anything from way she talked.
at that time the, It suddenly started to shake greatly and the chandelier was swining left and right.

"wa-waa!"

Roel clinged on me. Tolppo was silently staring at the Chandelier.

"s-see thats why its here. you guys should be able to exterminate it right?"

The old lady was trembling. However, I don't see the form of the ghost monster.

"This is. . . . . . . monster . . . . . . . different . . . . . . .vengeful ghost . . . . . . ."

Tolppo was standing alone and muttering. not a monster but an vengeful ghost, i wonder what they are. and

then this time the glass on the cupboard started clatter and shake.

"Ryu-Ryua-chan"

I was glued with Roel who was already crying. (TL: give her a kiss!!!)

"geez , whats really going on!"

The old lady was hysterically shouting toward who ever was there in the empty space.(TL: she didn't see anything just shouting randomly -delete-)

"a-a-at any rate, how many times did this happen""

Roel who was clinging on me was somehow able to inquire calmly.
The old lady who was agitated turn around and glared at us.

"even i don't know such things, I have already said all i know" (TL: this line is my enemy!!!!!! GAAAAAAAAOOOOOO *deleted due to being very long* anyway help  please TT_TT そんなのどうだっていいでしょ。言われた事をやればいいのよ)

"but we don't even have another clue"

"won't you shut up, It just happen recently.
if you can't do it i'll just ask the others to do this quest."

She was greatly as she explained i as she was afraid, and also roel was too as she didn't seperate from me.
Tolppo who was next to us moved slighlty.

"Stay at night . . . . . .. Vengeful ghost lively. .  . . . . . at night . . . ..  . .maybe . . . . may. . . . ."

"s-stay?!"

roel fumbled while looking at  Tolppo who was beside us.
certainly if we can't see it's appearance then we can't exterminate it.
I don't know if we can settle it at night but, i can't anything about it now, thats why I went with his plan.
Its good that that Roel and I are in the same room, but Tolppo silently entered the next room.
The bed inside the room was just exactly for 2 person, on the wall there was a painting of a scenery hanging

there. but we were the only one inside this spacious room.
The old lady will be providing us dinner for the night. (TL: the old lady will not cook it -delete-)
I went straight to the bed with my back lying on it and then Roel once again clinged on me.

"hey, Ryua-chan, I want to go to the toilet can we go together"

"sure , but you might sleep right away when you lie down" (TL: make it as if Ryua-chan is teasing Roel)

"thats not true!"

I smiled a bit as Roel gets mad as i tease her.
after that exchange, there was a knock on the door.

"wait a minute . . . . ."

the door was open, and Tolppo came in.
This guys doesn't have much presence at all, rather than the ghost this guy is way more scarier.

"talk. . . . . . .collected ideas . . . . . . . . say . . . . ."

Tolppo sat on the chair inside the room and continued.

"woman. . . . . .only one in this big mansion. . . . . .. servants . . . . . . .not here. . . . .. .living alone . .. . . .?"

"now that you say it, isn't it weird, I wonder if she is not married"

Roel looked over inside the room. There were more other rooms but i wonder what they are for. When i entered here i didn't notice it but it was somewhat dusty.
I wonder if they didn't clean this up.

*knock* *knock**knock* *knock**knock* *knock*

It seems someone came again.
I wonder if it is the old lady?
But its still too early for dinner.

"yes"

Roel answered towards the door but there was no response.
She opened the door but there was no one there.

"j-ju-just i thought this mansion is strange!"

saying that Roel jumped towards me. (TL: fumu roel is just too cute XD)
I don't feel anything wrong but i don't know what to do here right now.

". . . . .several. . . . .there is. . . . ."

again he said something. because he is talking in fragmnet its really hard to understand him right now. I feel bad for Roel but if things stays like this i feel like nothing will be settle that's why lets explore the mansion.

"So Roel what will you do?"

She made a face like the world is ending for a moment but i think it would be better to do this alone, in the end she came with me.
There were other rooms that stretches left and right at the corridor, one by one we entered the rooms.
There were not much on the 2nd floor, all the bath and the kitchen was at the 1st floor. for one thing we tried opening each room but it seems that we need a key to open them.
we went to the stairways going to the living room where we first talked with the Old lady, and i saw a figure of a person with the size of a child, making a *pitter patter* sound running from the bath and disseapere to the corner.

"just right now, I wonder if the old lady has a child? so she wasn't living alone."

"Ryua-chan, please don't say something scary. . . . . ."

even if you cling to me, I can't do anything about it. Roel was pulling me hard and dragged me to the corner where the dressing room is, I didn't sense anyone at all. After we took a look at the dressing room we went out and found a room as a wide as before.I wonder they plan to use on something in with this much big space, still thoughts like this won't have something come out.

"nothing here , and also that way to the bath"

"I-its already fine right, right" (TL: man sentences like this is hard to portray, roel keeps repeating the last words just to make sure of stuff on this it goes like this "mo-mo ii yo ne, ne" she wants to make sure so that she wouldn't be scared that much -delete-)

If you are this scared we should've stop doing this quest. Is what i thought but, it was Roel that chose this.

however, right now at this place i don't really understand what would be good to do. I'm sure that a Ghost-type monster would appear is what i thought but this situation is obscurely different.
I wonder if we d rank are able to settle this obscure incident.
I didn't see the particular rank designation for this quest, we may not be suitable for it but still if the enemy won't come out then, our way of doing things is wrong.

"somehow this quest is harder than I thought"

"about that, I didn't think much of it at that time but.  in the quest document this was dated back to one year ago."

Roel wasn't able to answer about the Rank designation. the clien may be one who designates the rank but in other case, it seems that the guild is the one decides it.
I wonder if the Old lady was the one who designated it, or maybe the guild.
suddenly, I moved my eyes and there was a door.
It looks like the toilet is there, then i wonder what this is? Lets try opening it but then the knob won't turn. I wonder if its because of the rust, I tried exerting strength on it.
*thunk* it made a sound and then the knob came off, and now even the door itself was came off. (TL: not really sure if the door broke down or dropped down but it was opened -delete-)

"a . . . . . ."

"Ryua-chan. . . . . . ."

Perhaps, no in this case it really broke it oops.
Roel who was scared earlier now made a shocked espression.

"there's no lock" (TL: please i really need help on this one 「鍵、かかってたんじゃ」)

I wasn't able to listen to the murmuring of Roel, the door earlier that was broken i can see a stairway leading down. Earlier everthing was westerm style but now it changed, a stairs made of concrete was leading to a dark place.(TL: well there is no light so it was leading somewhere dark)

"I-is this the storage"

Roel who was clinging on me for us not to be seperated was saying "not good" "not good" and was bringing me back. Unable to hold back my curiousity I tried going downstairs.
There wasn't no light but dark stairs I continued going downstairs step by step.
There was a conrete pathway like before and again there was a door.
like before it doesn't have any lock, the build was quite bad and it pretty much won't open.(TL: note ryua can open any doors as long as she puts strength -delete)

"Ryua-chan, lets stop . . . . . .if we enter by ourselves we will get scolded"

"but, the ghost may be inside this place"

"Then i wonder what you are doing"

Looking up the stairs the old lady was there.rather than calling it a woman's it looked more like a demon's expressions as we looked at her.
