Akshan Matchup:

Summoners:
- High Elo: Flash Ghost
- Mid Elo: Flash Ghost
- Low Elo: Flash Teleport

Runes and Build:
- High Elo: Scaling Predator
- Mid Elo: Standard Conqueror
- Low Elo: Scaling Predator

Why?:
- High Elo: To get on top of him and stay on top of him
- Mid Elo: Same as High Elo
- Low Elo: Survive lane, lessen mistakes and to use Predator to get on top of him.

How to win?:
- High Elo: Treat him as a weaker Vayne. He has good poke, but the second you get on top of him, he should be more than likely screwed, so long as you always stand in front of him as his E can be stopped by anyone standing in front of him. A good Akshan will use only one part of his passive so he can infinitely kite you, which is why Predator and Ghost comes in handy. Akshan also got a lot of nerfs so his E isn't as dangerous as it used to be if he ever uses it as an engage or more damage tool.
- Mid Elo: Same as High Elo, but make sure to use Ghost whenever you want to engage. Mid Elo Akshans usually don't know how to deal with someone who can get on top of them, if they ever get on top.
- Low Elo: Look to scale as you'll most likely end up dying because you don't know how to play into ranged matchups that well.

General Tips:
One of the only ranged top laners you can easily beat because he has 0 CC and his gap closer/escape tool can easily be stopped by someone just being in front of him when he uses it. So always make sure to stand in front of him when running him down.
Try not to get poked down too often and always fight him whenever you have Ultimate available as he will usually always be dead from you committing.
Good Akshans will always use their first half of passive to kite you or try to use it as much as possible, but it doesn't matter if you have Ghost or even Predator because once you're on him, he has no way to escape.

Starting Item:
- High Elo: Doran's Shield
- Mid Elo: Same as High Elo
- Low Elo: Same as High Elo
- All Elos: Make sure to stock up on potions every back, don't bother with refillable as it'll heal only 125HP compared to health potions that heal 150HP, even though refillable always refills each back. You only get 2 refillable potions compared to health potions where you can get a max of 5.
