History of Character: (Summary) Ascalon was born in Dawn to Chroma Zanders and Morgan Zanders. He spent his early life being taken care of my his mother and father. Mostly his mother as Chroma spent a great deal of time focused on his military career. As a youth this caused the young Ascalon to act out constantly, being n essence a young hellion. During this upbringing he was inducted into the traditional Azrealism and explained about his status as one of Azreal's chosen one.

The two eventually divorced and when they did Ascalon left with Morgan, now Townshend, his younger brother JP to go live in Alteros. While there he was exposed to the culture of the homeland directly. Here he learned more of the Townshend family and it's lineage stretching back generations. He would have likely stayed in Valmasia if not for the news that arrived on his tenth birthday of his father's death in a war back on Agartha.

It took two years but finally he was able to secure passage back to Agartha, saying farewell to his family possible for the last time before departing. The voyage back to Dawn was uneventful, though it did lay a lasting appreciation for ships in the young man. Upon arriving in Dawn he's since worked to rebuild the impoverished Zanders estate. With the disappearance of his sister from public life Ascalon has become the de facto head of House Zanders. Working to gain squirship under Paladin Freya Vishkar and gaining retainers Inari Blake and Arlei Therus under the house.

A scene covering a lesson being taught by Freya Vishkar over combat. During the lesson Ascalon learns of his families tendency to follow the Fomorion style as well as his father's reputation. In which Ascalon attempts to showcase his skills as a warrior in a organize match against Arlei Therus.

In the lesson Ascalon displays his heritage and knowledge of the Azrealite faith, instilled into him during his time in Alteros and struggles to maintain his temper as the class becomes less and less orderly.

In a lesson being taught over the Grey Church by Chronelius Nina Leverd, Ascalon questions what it the Church and it's god actually was. Arguing over the strangeness of worshiping another god besides Azreal. During this he explains about a vision he had in which one of his ancestors had herded a group of goats. He explained the visions that connected him to Azreal and his ancestors to a Neries.

In this scene Ascalon puts into practice his father's teachings over heroism. Coming to the aid of two damsels, Lirien and Noodles, agianst Laddie, formerly Sugar Lad. In the end of the battle his instincts kick in a burst of rage that allows the trio to emerge victories against the hand of the Adjudicator.

A scene that expanded between Lirien Leverd, Feth Vishkar, and Ascalon Zanders. In the scene Ascalon loses his temper, experiencing a deeper connection to his ancestors and Azreal. In a near frothing rage he fights Feth Vishkar several times. In the end he is introspective over the feeling of wrath he'd felt as well as how it could help him later.

A scene where Ascalon attempts to tap into the Midsummer Night, an device that stores mana. Left behind by Chroma Zanders and filled with his mana. They'd eventually fail to tap into it.

A large Scene in which Ascalon utilizes their mastery over their reika in order to act in a ritual to aid in the revival of Arthur Rowan's power. During this they'd learn to tap into the mana within the Midsummer Night, as well as feel the approving gazes of their ancestors.

A scene involving Declan, Jessi Ultovex, Kyla Vishkar, Mertaisyl, Taiga Voss, Laemor, and Knossos Fengari. In it the two groups Levengard/Dawn patrols clash within the caves near Dawn. In the clash Declan and Ascalon battle, with her reika surging and growing in the battle. She'd eventually get the chance to rock the faith of Declan, preaching the word of Azreal and her ancestors.
