Fluff: Our legends speaks of the great mother of our kind, cursed to take the form of a giant spider for outdoing a goddess in skill of weaving. She was slain by a so called 'hero' but not before laying a thousand eggs in a hidden cave. From those caves we came, not human, not spider but something in between. We fled those caves and crossed land and sea to our new home. To honor of our mother we weave the silks our bodies produce into everything from clothes to our homes.

Since those ancient days we have hidden in these jungles from the races around us, but the world is growing smaller every day.

Soon we will have to break our isolation.
