She was born under the waxing moons, when the constellation Opulent Broadleaf was in the House of the Manticore in the night sky over the Expanse. According to all the best astronomy guides available, this should be an ideal configuration for an herbalist or practitioner of the healing arts. It is less ideal, one could argue, for a princess.

True to the star charts, Princess Daisuke cares little for her courtly duties. She much prefers to tend her garden, growing herbs for her collection of medicines, and seeing to it that the familiars in her clan's possession are kept in good health. She has an almost preturnatural knack for knowing when a nearby creature is injured, and will swoop down on any wounded or ill animal she finds and immediately devote herself to making it well again.

Unlike most princesses her age, Daisuke is seldom found in the company of a royal entourage. Rather, she's typically found in the company of the many animals she's shown kindness and mercy to. The only thing that puts a smile on her face quicker than wandering the gardens with her animal friends in tow is finding out what unusual capers her dear Glamour has gotten up to this week.
