I. Tsukihime: Blue Blue Glass Moon, Under The Crimson Air

It tells the story of Shiki Tono, who since a life-threatening accident in his youth is cursed with the ability to see “lines” on everything around him. Lines along which objects can easily be cut. Having lived with foster parents for seven years, Shiki is recalled to the household of his family. He had lost all contact with his family over this entire period, making it difficult for him to get used to the new situation. As he gradually learns more about his past, the situation becomes more and more unfamiliar and dangerous. This is his story of finding the missing pieces of the puzzle.

II. Kara no Kyokai: the Garden of Sinners

Shiki Ryogi wakes up from a coma, and finds that while she retains her memories, she cannot identify with them as her own. As she struggles through her own life like a stranger, strange events - suicides, murders - begin to happen around town.

The series is regarded as being set in an alternate parallel universe to Type-Moon's other series, Tsukihime and Fate/stay night, which make references to Kara no Kyoukai. The protagonist of the series, Shiki Ryogi, possesses the same abilities as Tsukihime's protagonist, Shiki Tohno, and Aoko Aozaki's sister Toko Aozaki is a major character.
