The edges of her smile fall just enough to make it a bittersweet one as Caohite says, "Then it is Cousin Gurashi. The commune is terribly upset, and that is the only other reason I can think of."

"No, that is true." Caohite breathes a sigh, crossing her arms over her chest as her shoulders droop, "But they made a choice. One I am not shocked about, to say the least, but it is one they have made. They knew it could have this end."
