SpeedGaming Roles

We're expanding the SpeedGaming staff.  These are part-time positions averaging 1-6 hours per week, depending on the role.

Tournament Manager -- Acts as the liason between SpeedGaming staff and the organizers of each tournament currently in progress.  Regularly checks in with each tournament's organizer to ensure they have everything they need and the matches are progressing as intended.

Event Intake -- As people approach us to ask if we'll host their tournament, the Event Intake staff works with them to gather the details of their tournament, create and configure the event within our system, and answer any questions they have about how the broadcasts will work.

Stage Manager -- Shift-based or "on-call" style work.  Learn to manage the broadcast machines and fix common problems that the Setup Volunteers are not able to fix on their own.  Keep track of the schedule to ensure that broadcasts are running on time, and ensure that Setup Volunteers are assigned to cover each of the matches.

VOD Highligher -- Every 1-2 days go through past broadcasts, select the start and endpoint of each match, add title and description, and highlight/export it using the Twitch highlighting interface.

VOD-cast Curator -- Maintain our playlists of past matches for each tournament.  Each day create a playlist that will be used during the overnight-hours.

System Admin or Programming -- Managing servers, scripting, debugging.  Helpful technologies: Javascript, Python, Angular, Docker.

Other administrative roles:  Twitter Manager; Showcase Race Coordinator; data entry and making layout configuration files.
