- Arthur arrives back in absolute silence; although the march of the undead army still thuds the ground, and the fires of his eyes seem to beam more than before...
- There's something that moved him. Something so important, it could move a dead heart.
- He doesn't see Neo among those that returned. He doesn't see Nyphadora either. So many memories shared, so many things that they lived through together - both, a relic of his much younger, much brighter days. But now? Now there's only blood, death, and...
- Silence.
- And here he thought he lost all ability to feel, but he did not; a cocktail of sorrow, of angel and more, but he felt. Something that he had forgotten, something that he never considered before, but now it hit him like a freight train- so much, that the Lich King almost heaved a bitter breath, despite never needing one.
- But...
- "Inform Sors that we will need to prepare for more. This... this is notover. Not yet."
- The Lich King turned. Silent as the death itself, he walked this road alone - whatever brewed upon his mind, it was clear that it concerned him much.
- Much more than he ever thought it would.
- (Arthur Rowan)
- Dogslayer asks, "King Rowan?"
- Arthur Rowan asks, "...Yes?"
- Dogslayer asks, "Why did we lose, sir?"
- Dogslayer says, "I don't understand."
- Dogslayer says, "I just don't understand."
- Arthur Rowan says, "Fate turned against us tonight. It happens."
- Dogslayer asks, "Is this it, sire?"
- Arthur Rowan says, "No. It is not."
- Dogslayer says, "Thank you, my lord. I will stop bothering you now."
- Arthur Rowan says, "Today, we mourn. Tomorrow, we spill blood to silence our weeping."
- Arthur Rowan says, "Now... go. Leave me."
