  1.  
  2. Start by backing off the two jam nuts on the back side of the worm shaft with the clutch disengaged (by being sure the clutch latch is down and the gear box is stopped at 0 degrees)

  4. Adjust the bottom bolt in the clutch yoke in until you have a 1/8-1/16" gap between the clutch disk and the black bearing retainer on the worm shaft.

  7. Then turn the inside 1 1/8" nut on the end of the worm shaft in until it is flush with the clutch cone and the cone is flush with the pulley.
  8.  
  9. Now back off the inside nut 1/2 turn, Then lock the 2 nuts together without turning the inside nut.
  10.  
  11. Cycle the machine and check.
  12.  
  13. If the rake crank stops to high back off the inside nut 1/4 turn to retard the clutch.
  14. If the rake crank stops to low then turn the inside nut in 1/4 turn to advance the clutch.
