On 1/02, 5pm he notices a scar for a stab wound ala the first dead Dave, notebook Dave. When he was hit by a car and resurrected on Halloween (10/31/11, 10+31+11=52), he noticed that he'd lost all of his scars, including the ones from his childhood. January 2nd (1/02) signifies the start of his re-scarification. Every 120 hours (5 days), he wakes up with a new scar, all of which follow the order that the dead Daves died in and ultimately ending in full body burn scarring from the explosion of the Green Sun. Every 1025 date onwards from 1/02 becomes a day on which he might die.

1/5 chance of dying on a date, chance doubles if he lives through a date i.e. 1/5 becomes 2/5, 2/5 becomes 4/5, and 4/5 becomes 8/5 which means he definitely dies.

The upside to this is that, when he dies and resurrects, he loses the scars and starts the process over. By the mechanics of the death clock and social necessity, he will need to die so that he won't look like the survivor of a horrific fire.

Extra notes:
There are 73 five day cycles in a year.

Despite there being hundreds of dead Daves, many of their deaths were repetitiously similar; there are 21 main ways they would die,  and since 21*5 is 105, Dave would need to elude death on the critical dates for 105 days before getting burn scars. Unfortunately, the longest he can survive for now given the abundance of critical dates in January (month 01) and February (month 02) will be February 10th, the fourth date coming in at an 8/5 chance of dying should he survive all days prior. From January 2nd to February 10th is 39 days, so he won't get too severely scarred before dying.
