- Well, I didn't need this advice because at a time when I was presumably "supposed" to "start getting my feet on the ground" "in the real world" I was physically (and otherwise) so jaded and soaked that I physically (again) couldn't do it.
- I mean what I've learned thorough the process of "literally" resurrecting myself (because I've needed explanations) is that one of my parents was a hipster and another was committed to remain in child-mode (not taking responsibility) through the remainder of her life.
- Simply put: There's a good chance that your parents weren't "the best ever". It's either you or their status quo, and rationalising your past can help you untraumatize yourself.
- To your point: If most people can't rely on their family to provide them a good runway into life — why should they do it on schools?
- Many (most?) school teachers are gutless fanatics who couldn't help themselves if they wanted.
- So, of course you should start thinking for yourself ASAP!
- However, I wouldn't say that hoping to bump into monk in a field is an advisable strategy for everyone. (Disclaimer: I didn't: at least not on the field! )
- Ofc now I know very specific things techniques that help with "finding yourself", but I assume you'll have to wait for content on my channel or something if you want 'em.
