  7. This is a precise guide on how to resurrect Nei after the battle with Neifirst.
  8. There are some prerequisites you must meet, however.
  9.  
  10. a) Load Clear Game data for Phantasy Star Generation:1 when starting a new
  11. game.
  12. b) Complete your first playthrough of Phantasy Star Generation:2 normally.
  13. c) After you've finished your first playthrough, save your Clear Game data.
  14. d) Now start a second new game by loading your Phantasy Star Generation:2 Clear
  15. game data.

  82. O'Connor twice and getting information from Adina, the librarian.
  83. - Have Nei talk to Daniel, a blond boy in a green jacket that hangs out in the
  84. northeast corner of town, who wants to become a thief.
  85. - After speaking to everyone in Paseo, consult.
  86. - Also, examine one of the Control Towers before you go.
  87. - Note that the phrase "speaking to everyone" includes weapon, armor, and item
  88. shop owners, hospital doctors, Data Memory receptionists, Teleportation
  89. Service receptionists, Clone Lab alchemists, and other NPCs of this kind.

  106. - Seek out an NPC named Amos, an elderly man NPC in a brown tunic on the south
  107. side of town, and speak with him first.
  108. - Next, look for these three NPCs, but DO NOT speak to them: Esther, Michael,
  109. and Peter. Esther is a brunette woman with a purple skirt on the east side of
  110. town. Michael is a green-haired boy in yellow pants on the east side of town.
  111. And last of all, Peter is a teal-haired boy wearing a brown coat on the north
  112. side of town. Just confirm their locations.
  113. - Proceed to speak to everyone else in town.
  114. - Now talk to Esther, then Michael, and consult to hear about Teim.
  115. - Find and speak to Peter, then consult twice.
  116. - Return to Amos and speak to him again.
  117. - Go back to Paseo.

  123. - Speak to Cain before doing anything else. He's a red-haired man with a green
  124. shirt who usually hangs out just north of Eusis' house.
  125. - Meet Rudger, BUT DO NOT put him in the party.
  126. - Speak to Governor O'Connor.
  127. - Head home and add Rudger to the party. DO NOT REMOVE HIM FOR ANY REASON UNTIL
  128. I SAY YOU CAN. It's alright if he dies.
  129. - Anyway, after adding Rudger, consult.
  130. - Look for Cain again and have Eusis hear the dialogue about the orphanage from
  131. him.
  132. - Have Rudger speak to Daniel, Isabel, and Titus. You should remember where to
  133. find Daniel. Isabel is a woman with green hair and a blue skirt who hangs out
  134. just north of the Clone Lab and hospital. Titus is a brunet man in a blue
  135. coat who mills about the park area just northwest of the Teleportation
  136. Service.

  157. Key and Ransom Note.
  158. - Consult after each time you find a stick of Dynamite.

  230. - When he asks if you came to learn to play the piano, say "No," then reenter
  231. his home once more.
  232. - Say "No" about hearing him play, then say "Yes" about learning piano.
  233. - When Aventino asks if you think he's a good musician, say "No" and reenter
  234. his house yet again.
  235. - Say "No" about hearing him play, say "Yes" about learning piano, then say
  236. "Yes" about him being a marvelous musician.
  237. - Try to have a female character learn Musik, but say "No" when he asks for the
  238. payment. Reenter his house yet again.
  239. - Say "No" about hearing him play, say "Yes" about learning piano, then say
  240. "Yes" about him being a marvelous musician, and have Eusis learn Musik this
  241. time. When Aventino asks for payment, say "Yes" and you'll fork over the
  242. 2,000 meseta to learn it.
  243. - After Eusis has acquired Musik, consult.
  244. - Head to the Biosystems Lab.

  254. in Nido Tower and don't want to go back for it.

  266. - Go home for Huey. DO NOT put him on the team yet.

  271. - You are now free to use Huey. However, make sure Anne is on the team before

  274. Nido Tower or the Biosystems Lab is still there.

  302. give Uriel the Trimate, so it's best to find and immediately talk to him.

  310. - Head for Central Tower and speak with Governor O'Connor.

  314. if you want.

  321. - Look for a boy with black hair wearing an orange coat named Zachariah, found
  322. on the eastern-most side of town. DO NOT talk to him, just confirm his
  323. location.
  324. - Now talk to everyone else in town.
  325. - After that, now you should speak with Zachariah.
  326. - Head over and talk twice to Enos, an elderly man in a green tunic on the west
  327. side of town.
  328. - Leave town and go to the small broken bridge to Kueris, examine it, and
  329. return to Zema.
  330. - Seek out an NPC named Luke, a brunet man wearing a blue shirt who hangs out
  331. by the weapon shop and ECM. DO NOT talk to him; just confirm his location.
  332. - Talk to everyone else in town except for Uriel, Enos, and Luke.
  333. - When that's done, speak with Uriel twice, then talk to Luke twice and
  334. consult.
  335. - Now go talk to Enos and say "No" to his request, then speak with him again
  336. and say "Yes" to receive the Happiness Ring. Consult and speak with Enos once
  337. more.
  338. - Head for Kueris.

  345. - Go talk to everyone in town, including the six Motavians. You can't deliver
  346. the Happiness Ring to Nanette just yet, so don't worry about accidentally

  348. - After you've talked to all the NPCs outside and all the shops, go to the
  349. house on its lonesome on the southern outskirts of town and meet Hiram. Say
  350. "No" when he asks if you've heard of Maruera Leaves, then reenter his home
  351. and say "Yes" when he asks you again.
  352. - Now that you've met and talked to Hiram, go and talk to an NPC named Jerod on
  353. the northern-most end of town, just above the two Control Towers. He's a man
  354. with brown hair in a blue coat.
  355. - Now find and speak with an NPC named Gihon, a purple-haired woman in an
  356. orange skirt who can be found in the northeastern-most corner of town.
  357. - Return to Paseo.

  403. just remember to grab it before you head for Dezoris.

  429. - Speak to the three Motavians on B2 of Northern Roron. (There are no Motavians
  430. in the room with the Slicer.) One of them will ask you if you want to try the
  431. cake they found; say "No," then "Yes."
  432. - Lastly, speak with the one Motavian on B3 of Northern Roron. Consult.
  433. - You may wish to open one of the chests that contain garbage on your way
  434. through this dungeon.

  445. again and say say "Yes" to buy Polymetryl for 10,000 meseta. Consult after
  446. receiving it, then speak to Solomon again.

  485. - Proceed to talk to everyone in town. Remember that there are some NPCs
  486. milling about the southwestern outskirts of town.
  487. - Now go speak with Abel.
  488. - After this, look for and talk these three NPCs. Jude is a green-haired man
  489. wearing brown pants who can be found by the two Control Towers in the
  490. northeastern-most corner of town. Eve is a green-haired woman wearing a blue
  491. skirt northeast of the hospital. Lastly, Ezra is an elderly man in a brown
  492. tunic who hangs out just south of the ECM.
  493. - Return home to Paseo.

  522. Maruera Tree on Uzo Island; consult. Speak with Gabrielle once more.

  550. house each time you want to talk to him.
  551. - Talk to the Motavian hanging around outside of Hiram's house.
  552. - Speak with the Motavian who can usually be found just south of the Data
  553. Memory.

  560. - Speak to Solomon again. I assume you know where he is by now.
  561. - Go around and talk to Perez, a brunet man in a blue coat who can usually be
  562. found just south of the item shop. Sometimes he likes to hide behind the tall
  563. buildings.
  564. - Lastly--whew!--go over to the east side of town and talk to Carmel, a black-
  565. haired woman in a yellow skirt.
  566. - Head for AMeDAS, but DO NOT ENTER!

  572. - Examine the whirlpool that leads to AMeDAS and consult.
  573. - Enter AMeDAS.

  580. - When you confront Neifirst, she'll ask Nei if she intends to fight her. Say
  581. "No" and then consult.
  582. - Proceed to fight Neifirst and win. It doesn't matter if Nei or Eusis defeats
  583. her.
  584. - There is no way of telling if you've succeeded until after the final cutscene
  585. of AMeDAS.
  586. - If you've done everything correctly, you will be able to revive Nei at the
  587. Clone Lab when this is over. The Clone Lab alchemist will NOT tell you Nei's
  588. cells are too degraded, and the game will just take you to the Clone Lab
  589. menu. It does cost money to complete the revival, as if this were like any
  590. other death.
  591. - Once you complete the resurrection, Nei cannot be removed from your party,
  592. just as before.

  596. {45} Beyond AMeDAS
  597.  
  598. - This last section of the Resurrection of Nei guide was written solely by me,
  599. Moeman_.
  600.  
  601. - You can trade the Silver Bullet Necklace for Nei's ultimate weapon, the
  602. Animal Claw, with a musk cat in the Skure Tunnels.
  603.  
  604. - You will notice it's a singular Animal Claw, not a pair. Nei can't equip any
  605. ärmels, so you're going to have to pair her with another, much weaker, claw.
  606.  
  607. - While the Laser Claw is objectively Nei's next best weapon, I personally
  608. recommend pairing her with a Silent Claw. It has less Attack, but it minutely
  609. boosts her other stats, and can cast Volt when used as an item. Couple that
  610. on top of Nei's high Agility, and she'll wind up being even more of an asset
  611. against tough organic enemies!
  612.  
  613. - Nei's best armor without creating items: Nei Field, Crystal Field, Nei Crown,
  614. Snow Crown, Knife Boots.
  615.  
  616. - If, on the first playthrough, you followed my suggestion to split the nine
  617. Nei Armaments between the seven characters, due to the inclusion of Nei this
  618. time around, I would personally give her the Nei Crown instead of doubling up
