  1. MAP 1-5:
  2. They're all easy, short but solid maps, visually they feel basic but competently made with enough visual detail to keep it from looking boring, I remember being particularly impressed with how good lighting in MAP04 was. I appreciate how every map seems to follow a certain idea/gimmick and executes it well. MAP05 stood out to me the most because of how cool the midi was, and that final encounter with the waves of Imps and Demons was neat too, although not too difficulty.

  4. MAP 06:
  5. Mostly the same as the previous maps, but I can see the difficulty slowly increasing. The Hell Knight crusher arena was the most memorable fight so far.

  7. MAP 07:
  8. Short but intense, definitely much more difficult than what came before. I liked how the text screen establishes a grittier atmosphere, which is supported in the map by the small details such as the slaughtered soldiers in the lobby.

  10. MAP08:
  11. The best one so far, a good amount of challenge, the final fight was tricky but lots of fun. Glad to see regular usage of barrels in the maps.

  13. MAP09:
  14. Okay now this is the best one yet, so it'll suffice to say the maps are getting better and better. Fun combat encounters, especially the one right after lowering the water levels. And lowering the water to change the map layout is for sure one of the coolest map tropes.

  16. MAP10:
  17. Can't say I loved this one, but it was certainly a tense and unique challenge even if most of the gameplay was spamming the Rocket Launcher and finding the right position to do so.

  19. MAP11:
  20. This one continues the trend maps 8 and 9 set of being increasingly better. Very refreshing to see the map theme change. Just as in the aforementioned maps, combat is fun and challenging enough to not be too difficult or frustrating. The city theme looks much more interesting, with memorable setpieces such as the theatre in the exit area.

  22. MAP12:
  23. The Factory if Sandy knew how to make a good map (jk), I've noticed this wad utilizes crushers in fights a lot, which does add a lot of spice to them, the one in this map was certainly a nasty trap. Great map with lots of running and gunning big amounts of enemies, this one felt more open than the maps before.
