Originally Kat's sprite in SBARGv2, made from her prototyping a "little girl chronos" clay figurine, and a "Madokami" figurine. She had graduated from spritehood after passing through the Final door into Gene. It is said that she was given this boon by a first guardian that had come to adore her quite dearly.
Like Kat, she is from a different timeline than the rest of the crew seems to be able to remember. She seems sarcastic and witty as ever as she weilds her potent fire magic. She's joined the expidition for quite a few reasons: 1, she's bored and wants to go on that space road trip that was promised so many times ago and never fully happened 2, she's very interested in learning more about the temporic race, which she seems to resemble a member of for strange roundabout reasons.

Kat [EXPUNGED OR YOU DIE]
Age: 22?
Sylph of Time

She's been described as fun and bubbly, but can get very profoundly upset when things are stacked up against her. She can get incredibly wrathful when angry too. Overall though, she's a great friend to have and her nerdy passion for her various dark creepy husbandos shines through her artwork. This one is from a different timeline than the rest of the team remembers, along with Elsey. She pilots the Virtuous Victorian, a wonderful spaceship that can handle interstellar flight. She tends to get preoccupied with maintaining it and her various mysterious projects. She's been known to use timecloneloops to get things done faster, but it often leaves her exausted. Most of her friends are just glad that this version of her is an unspoiled cinnimon roll instead of a cursed witch of despair.

Seth [REDACTED]
Age: 18?
Heir of Time

A lot has happened to this guy. His very identity has been reshaped by mysterious forces to guide him towards what they wanted. He doesn't exacly like this fact, but it's better than dying from the effects of his own hubris at least. He's been known to have some serious anger issues, and can be quite seized by his emotional output, often leading to poorly made decisions. Being created from chronos's dna, and later meeting the man himself who took him under his wing, he's grown attatched to thinking of him as a father, despite all the atrocities that he has caused across the board. He has a mild obsession with greek mythology and death, and is often seen as "that creepy dangerous guy in the corner", yet also "the immature hothead who gets his ass kicked often".
It's said that his continued survival is only thanks to being bound to the alpha timeline, because every time he dies, it just gets written off as happening in a doomed timeline and time is rewound to when he was safe again, chucking his dead body back into the past to notify him to reconsider his next actions. He's also met the ghosts of all these past mistakes and while they're for the most part angry for getting the short end of the stick, there's nothing they can do about it. He wants to go on the expedition to Korous because he feels he wil be able to finally fit in.

Niki Garren
Age: 22-28ish?
Prince of Time

An abscentminded but passionate artist who has recently been brought back from the dead. She's gone a long ways from the dorky amatur photoblogger she used to be when she first started. After the game ended, she became nearly the only available bachelorette in the group, and thus had to dodge and wade through a lot of dates. Despite this, she prides herself on being a strong feminist role-model. As the years have gone on, her friends had slowly drifted off with the rest of the expanding universe, leaving her to her own devices. She eventually got involved in debugging a version of the game made for santa's elves on a distant planet, and later planned on assisting them via exile suggestions, but got side-tracked by her selfish dream to become the next Andrew Hussie.
She wound up also making a deal with some eldrich creatures to give her friends access to the dreambubbles, which had been disabled to them previously for some reason. The price for this was the neutralization of Seth [REDACTED], which not only involved splitting reality twice to manipulate his path through life, but also locking him into a coma where he would never be able to actually hurt anyone ever again, or so they thought. She had to help him bust out of it (after some kid tried to revive chronos by allowing him to possess seth's comatose body) via a complicated plan involving an epic rpg maker game and a script that would activate upon her death to enact the chosen ending into reality. While dead, she took a journey across the underworld to make it resemble the place she had crafted in her rpg maker game. She wonders when she and Ben will finally be able to spend some quality time together, but she seems to get around alright in an independant manner. She is very excited to finally have seemingly kickstarted the space road trip she had always dreamed about going on.


Mike Bull
Age: 23?
Witch of Time

Once a lonely dork of an artist, he became slightly less obscure after becoming the first weilder of the Null, a mysterious virus that was instrumental in defeating Chronos. After being effectively "cured" of the virus, he became somewhat of a recluse with visions of grandour. He took off to explore the stars and eventually became a scientist's assistant. He was almost Niki's boyfriend, but someone she had liked more had appeared just a day after. He was instrumental in the closure of The Red Rift, which is effetively a vaguely wish granting, timeline filtering obstacle which reduced all timelines in Gene to just one after the beginning of 2015.

In another part of his timeline, he had gone back to The Beginning and painstakeingly arranged things just right for his own version of Earth to flourish, with him as its main patron deity. That's way later though and is usually considered an out of the way sort of thing. While his huge plans are often grand in scale and effect, they are much simpler than Niki's plans.


Charles Johnson
Age: 21?
Witch of Void

A meddling speculative scientist who takes his inspiration from all the convoluted science fiction things he's consumed and attempts to bring them into real use, often with less than spectacular results, usually involving unfortunate and momentarily fatal accidents. Or at least, this is what most people seem to remember him as. This version of charles is from a completely different timeline than the others. This one seems to at least cover his tracks a bit better, and usually stays out of trouble, for the most part.

Ben Rohr

Maid of Life

An old memer and a frequent shitposter, he's often the life of the party. Once an annoying outcast, in another timeline he signed a contract that helped him escape the blue hole after realizing he was the last player alive in the session that wasn't an enemy of some sort. In a more fortunate timeline, he eventually became Niki's best friend. Later on, after the red rift had brought him back from whatever otherworldly exile he had experienced, he and Niki became boyfriend and girlfriend, taking it slow and spending a couple days together here and there. He wound up becoming one of Seth's best friends after talking him out of going on a distressful rampage during an existential crisis. He wound up becoming his caregiver while he was in a coma and as a reward, he wasn't killed by the jerkwad that took off with his body. Apparently he took a ride into space, presumibly with his spaceship, the Lunar Whale. Was it stress? Was it to take a vacation after caring for a coma patient for 10 months straight? was it a response to seeing everything he had worked for fall apart in front of him? We're not sure yet.

Kimura Tanaka
Age: 24?
Witch of Light

A mischevious but mostly benign oddball programmer turned sun dog. He is shaped like a friend. He had often been in the background as the party's most reliable designated driver during dungeon crawls. He has often been a reliable companion, but recently he's been going of to more distant places on his own. There's rumors that he's found ways to transverse different dimensions and has been living his lifelong dream of being able to visit and interact with characters he had once known as fictional in their own worlds.
