- Description: Rodney McKee, charged with arson, called his uncle Clifford McKee to arrange for the witness in the case to be killed. Clifford McKee contacted Butler, whom he knew from prior stints in prison, and agreed to pay him $10,000 to carry out the hit. However, Butler mistakenly targeted Frances’ home. He entered through an unlocked garage door and found Frances in an upstairs bedroom. He then bound her with zip ties, before stabbing her multiple times in the neck, leaving her dead in a pool of blood, to be found by her fiance. She was 5 days away from her 29th birthday.
