Overview:
Fate protects fools, children and ships named "Enterprise"
The second of Star Fleet's Vesta-Class of Explorers, the USS Enterprise is already off to an illustrious career suitable to her namesakes.
Enterprise is notable in the class for having a number of nonstandard modifications, and was the first to be a Networked Mental Model Vessel, with her Core Consciousness April Emiya-Greenfield serving, unusually, as her own captain. Structurally, Enterprise's Pylons are canted at a duller angle than the rest of the class, giving a wider gap between her nacelles that more easily allow her to land larger craft on her Lido Deck, as well as give her warp field a broader profile, increasing her superluminal speed. Her run of Warp 9.9994 marks the standing offical record holder for Standard Warp, and though several vessels boast faster Slipstream or Fold travel times, she is often recognized as the Fastest Ship in Star Fleet and the unofficial holder of the Blue Ribband (Though no such honor actually "exists" per se, the members of Star Fleet are strangely sentimental and tradition bound.)
Another major modification, installed as she was built is a distributed neural network spreading out from her keel of pure Vitus, built around several relics of Enterprises past, giving the entire ship a "nervous system" for it's Captain, installed by the shadowy hand of the Sorceress Supreme and her Thralls for nefarious purposes (As a combination Birthday and First Command Gift).
As currently equipped for Operation REBOUND VEIL, Enterprise is configured more as an attack carrier than a proper exploratory vessel with nearly her entire stern quadrant dedicated over to her air wing.
