Who am I deep in this brain?
If it only seemed to be so strange
I would leave here for tomorrow
As a different control of a being
Wallowing in this pool of contempt
For all who met me and wept

Mansions down the alley run away
As I scurry to the shack without lock
Weaving the new world down with track
It is tracking me down to here I stand
Right in front of my eyes bleeds the man

And a thousand mystics make wreathes
For the night to come close to honouring
A waving man in distance showing and telling
Of what he shows and crumbles the meaningless
Of laws to which we are judged by not doing

So if in fact we run away to a merry place
We can sit a while and stay for tea
I will run the joint of dismay for all to see
And see you will, the fountain drips
And spurts the trees along a hedge
Go for a song to sing that gets you along
To a bell you would die to ring
These are the coming of days
