- LINUX INSTALLATION:
- Full guide for running MTA:SA on Linux:
- Helpful note by a Linux anon:
- "When running MTA:SA under Wine, you'll probably get an error saying it failed to 'validate your serial'.
- You have to download and RUN the MTA:SA server as root. You need to CONNECT to the MTA server, so set it up!
- At that point, you'll be able to connect to the /jp/ server. The game will probably crash.
- In your install folder, you must COPY the following files from MTA to MTA/CEF:
- libcef.dll chrome_elf.dll icudtl.dat v8_context_snapshot.bin snapshot_blob.bin
- And that's it. It worked for me. Hope it helps!"
