KH DDD Any% (Beginner NG) Notes

** I'd highly recommend you familiarize the map layout of all the world so you do not get lost very easily on which room you're progressing to **

Traverse Town (1st Visit)
- Enter 2nd District for forced fight, view Flowmotion Combat Tutorial, then Start + Exit when the HUD shows up
- Mash Confirm to enter Spirits Menu, make a Meow Wow, and hope that it has Blue Eyes
- Enter 3rd District to drop to Riku
- Enter 2nd District, view Spirit Links Tutorial, Start + Exit when the HUD shows up, and make a Komory Bat
- Flowmotion Kick Dive on electrical board, enter 1st District, then enter Post Office
- Chests: 3rd District:
						- Vibrant Fantasy (Upper-right Balcony)
          Post Office:
						- Rampant Fantasy (Bottom right corner, must RS on the wall of gifts)
						- Spark (Big chest)
                        - Troubling Fantasy (North of Spark chest)
          Fountain Plaza:
						- Rampant Fantasy (Right of alcove to main area)
                        - Strike Raid (Big chest on Fountain)
          4th District:
						- Water Barrel (Left of entrance on Red Roof)
                        - Balloon (Big chest in Tower)
- Shop:
		- Sell: Everything except Blizzard, Balloon, Vibrant Figment, 2 Troubling Figments, Rampant Fantasy x1 and Water Barrel
        - Buy:  2 Vibrant Figment and as many Water Barrels as you can
- Menu: Spirits - Make Tama Sheep (Vibrant Figment x3 and Troubling Figment x2)
        Party: Komory Bat, Tama Sheep, Meow Wow
        - If Meow Wow's eyes are not blue, then do the following:
        - Purple eyes: Poke its tail
        - Yellow/Green eyes: Poke its face
        - If Komory Bat's Eyes are not blue, then poke his face until he becomes a Rescuer
        Use all Water Barrels
        Komory Bat: Waking Dream, Confuse, Drain Dive, Magic Haste, Magic Boost, Dark Screen, Magic Haste (310 LP needed)
        Tama Sheep: Sleep, Magic Boost, Magic Haste, Water Screen, Question Mark, Balloon, HP Boost, Stop Block, Magic Haste (330 LP needed)
        Meow Wow:   Cure, Magic Haste, Item Boost, Slow, Poison Block, Attack Haste, Magic Boost (320 LP needed)
If you don't have enough LP then either,
    - Sell Drain Dive and Sleep then purchase additional Water Barrels
    OR
    - Gold the Le Cite des Cloches dive as Riku and get the Abilities you failed to get here
        Cure -> Potion
        Balloon -> Empty
        Balloon -> Empty
- Use Balloons against Hockomonkey

Prankster's Paradise
- Get an A-Rank for the Dive
- Go to the Ferris Wheel and get the Malleable Fantasy Chest in one of the Ferris Wheel Carts
- Go back to the Save Point and Leave World

The Grid (Sora)
- Go straight to the next room until you reach the cutscene trigger
- Go straight, then right to the next room
- Examine the machine, then board the Solar Sailer
- Go to 2nd Floor, use Reality Shift to Auto-Destruct a gun, and enter right terminal through the roof to get Balloonra in a big chest
- Go up on the roof, proceed to the next room open the chest on the left scaffolding for a Lofty Fantasy
- Menu:
        Deck: Balloonra x2, Balloon x2 (Riku)
        Equip Skull Noise
- Drop to Riku

Traverse Town (1st Visit; Riku)
- Menu: Spirits: Komory Bat, Tama Sheep, Meow Wow
- Enter 1st District for forced fight and use Flowmotion Shock Wave + Balloonra/Balloon
- Touch the Save Point in Back Streets
- Use RS on barrel when you enter Fountain Plaza and destroy the wall
- Grab the Vibrant Fantasy chest
- Kill the 1st group of enemies with Flowmotion Shock Wave + 2 hits to reach LV3
-  Use Flowmotion Shock Dive once again on the next group ahead, then go to 5th District to fight Hockomonkey

Prankster's Paradise (Riku)
- Menu: Equip Skull Noise
        Balloonra -> Empty (Both Riku and Sora)
- Grab Charming Fantasy from small chest right above from where you entered
- Talk to Geppetto and kill the 2nd Barrel group with 2 Jestabocky with 2 Bubble Burst Reality Shifts
    - If you have Overcast, enter Bubble Burst Reality Shift once, then jump + Shock Dive (should reach LV4 after this)
- Leave the world from the save point in next room

La Cité des Cloches (Riku)
- Enter and exit the Cathedral
- Touch Save Point in Town
- Grab Noble Fantasy from chest in top alcove past archway on the left
- Kill Zolephant that spawns in the middle of Town
- Go to Outskirts, go back to World Map from Save Point, select "Town", then go through Cathedral
- Spam Balloonra/Balloon and Reality Shift on Wargoyle

The Grid (Riku)
- Light Cycle
- Menu: Equip Guardian Bell
- Go back behind you, choose "The City" (1st option), then go straight to enter forced fight
	- Grab Thundara from big chest during forced fight
- After forced fight, kill the Peepsta Hoo that immediately spawns with Balloonra, and enter the next room
- Kill the 1st Cyber Yog right after the 1st door, then go through the room while Auto-Destructing guns and activating switches
- Spam Balloons/Balloonras and Reality Shifts on Commantis, heal when needed

Prankster's Paradise (Riku)
- Spawn at Belly
- Before exiting area, flip Monstro and scale upwards to grab Collision Magnet from big chest
- Fight the Char Clawster

World Map
- If any World currently has Bargain Flurry as a Weather as Riku, go to it
- Shop: Sell: Malleable Fantasy, Confuse, Lofty Fantasy, Vibrant Fantasy, Rampant Fantasy, Noble Fantasy and Charming Fantasy
        Buy: Balloonra x4, Thundara x1, Vibrant Figment x2 (3,440 Munny needed)
- Menu: Deck (Riku): Balloonra x4, Thundara x1, Cure
        Deck (Sora): Ballonra x3, Thundara x1, Cure
Return to World Map, then Drop to Sora

The Grid (Sora)
- Proceed to next room and use the save point and leave the world

La Cité des Cloches (Sora)
- Use the Comet Dual Link and spam Balloonra/Balloon in forced fight, go through the Cathedral, then enter Bell Tower
- Go to Town for forced fight, then enter the Tomb
- Break the lower-right wall past the Poison, go to Catacombs, and break the lower-left wall in the Poison. Do not break the poison jars
- Talk to Esmeralda to fight Wargoyle

Prankster's Paradise (Sora)
- Menu: Equip Guardian Bell
        Thundara -> Empty
- Go north to find the 1st Pinocchio clone for 1st forced fight
- Take the ride to get to the top of the red tower and go to the next room
- Kill the Pricklemane group with 2 Thundaras, kill a Kooma Panda with 2 Jestabockies, then enter forced fight
- After forced fight, kill a Kooma Panda with 2 Jestabockies again with a few Komory Bats, then Pricklemane group again on the way out
    - You should be almost LV9 at this point
- Go to the center of the bridge and use a Thundara on the 3 Juggle Pups (attack the surviving Juggle Pups)
- Go up ahead and kill the next group with 2 Kooma Pandas as the 2nd wave with a Thundara and Balloonras
- Make sure you're not too high to make the next group to the left up ahead spawn to kill them with a Thundara
- Kill the last group with a Thundara and Balloonras if needed to reach LV10
- Menu: Balloonra -> Thundara
- Go fight Chill Clawbster

The Grid (Sora)
- Go fight Rinzler, do not use Reality Shift if it comes up

Traverse Town (2nd Visit)
- Choose "Visit the World" when you go to Traverse Town
IMPORTANT: DO NOT DO THE MENU IF TAMA SHEEP AND KOMORY BAT DO NOT HAVE FULL LINK GAUGE
- Menu: Equip Dual Disk
- Enter Fountain Court for forced fight and use Comet Dual Link + spam Balloonras avoid Command Locks
- Menu: Equip Guardian Bell
- Go to 3rd District from 1st District for Boss Rush
- Drop to Riku after Boss Rush
- Get the Magic Gain Lvl 1 Drop Bonus

(Riku)
- Exit world via Save Point in 1st District
- Re-enter world in Back Streets
- Go to Fountain Court, get to cutscene trigger, then go back for forced fight
- Enter 3rd District

Symphony of Sorcery (Riku)
Note: Missing one of the prompts for the RS is faster than perfecting it
- Enter the Blue Musical Book
- Get Zero Graviza in a big chest above after the 1st Reality Shift in 1st room
- Get the Elixir chest on the left tree trunk on the way to the Reality Shift in the 2nd room
- Grab Ryu Dragon recipe from big chest on the giant leaves after using RS
- Fight Chernabog

World Map
- Spirit Menu:
	- Create Ryu Dragon by hovering over the Spirit and press L1 so the marker highlights Meow Wow and press X to confirm
		**This is known as Creation Glitch where you can make a Dream Eater that you originally hovered over with Meow Wow's recipe by pressing L1** (If you're still confused about it, refer to link to the vid about it at the beginning of notes)
- Use 1 Water Barrel
	- Ability Board:
		- Ryu Dragon: Superglide (10 LP)
- Menu: Equip Counterpoint
        Deck (Riku):
			- Zero Graviza
			- Balloon x2
			- Thundara x2
			- Balloonra x2
			- High Jump
        Deck (Sora):
			- Zero Graviza
			- Balloonra x5
			- Elixir
			- High Jump
 			- Superglide
Country of the Musketeers (Riku)
- Take lower-left path inside building, then go fight/find the Beagle Boys
- Use Flowmotion Shock Wave to break part of a wall, then Flowmotion around the pole to reveal the 1st Beagle Boy
- Make enemies spawn to the right as the 1st Beagle Boy is coming down, then use Zero Graviza + Balloonras
- Break the last-right clothes to reveal the 2nd Beagle Boy and break the lighted door to the right for the 3rd one
- Use Balloon commands and Thundara against Holey Moley

World Map:
- Equip Knockout Punch before entering Country of the Musketeers!

Country of the Musketeers (Sora)
- Use Comet, then Zero Graviza + Balloonras for forced fight
- Pop the Elixir
- Talk to Mickey and choose bottom option to fight Tyranto Rex
- Menu:
	- Balloon x2 -> Balloonra + Elixir
	- Thundara x2 -> Balloonra x2
- Go fight Beagle Boys
- Choose 1st option when examining the carriage to enter Shore
- Kill a Tyranto Rex in the next room, then go to the forced fight to use Comet on Zolephants in Dungeon
- Menu: Slow -> Zero Graviza
- After saving Mickey, choose 1st option, use 2 Balloonras to kill a Tyranto Rex in front of Opera House to reach LV13
- Go fight Beagle Boys & Pete

Symphony of Sorcery (Sora)
Note: Missing one of the prompts for the RS is faster than perfecting it
- Menu:
        Zero Graviga -> Slow
        Balloonra x4 + Collision Magnet + Cure -> Balloon x2 + Thundara x2
        Equip All for One
- Enter Pink Music Book, activate all Reality Shifts in each room (2 in 1st, 1 in 2nd, 2 in 3rd), then approach the Sound Idea
- Enter Red Music Book to fight Spellican
- Use Zero Graviga + Balloonras, heal when needed

World That Never Was (Sora)
- Skip cutscenes and have fun dropping to Riku

The World That Never Was (Riku)
- Shop: Sell: Zero Graviza and Meteor
        Buy:  Curaga x2 (1,600 or 2,000 Munny needed)
- Activate the Reality Shifts with Balloonra + 1 combo
- Take left path after 1st Reality Shift to room with pipes and head straight on the pipe
- Use 2nd RS to open up floor and destroy the red beams, then get Doubleflight chest
- Menu: Equip Divewing if you managed to A-Rank all Dives with Riku, otherwise Counterpoint
      -  Command Deck: Balloonra x6 and Curaga x2 (Both Sora and Riku)
      -  Equip Doublefight
- If you don't have Overcast (Drop Gauge= 1.3) in Slot 3, you can either continue on or drop until it is
- Once you see Overcast on Slot 3 while you're Riku, then drop to Sora

The World That Never Was (Sora)
- Menu: Equip Divewing if you managed to A-Rank all Dives with Sora, otherwise Counterpoint
- Use Flowmotion over a black and white buildings in 1st room and Reality Shifts in 2nd room, then go fight Xemnas
- When Xemnas DMs, do not use the Reality Shift against him!

The World That Never Was (Riku)
- Take the North Path to the next room
- Go straight ahead for the 1st Reality Shift in next room, up-right for 2nd Reality Shift, then left to 3rd Reality Shift
- Go through the next rooms to enter a Boss Rush with Anti-Black Coat and both Ansem fights
- Spam Balloonra + use Curaga when needed

Final Battles
- Go fight Young Master Xehanort and spam Balloonras
- When Young Master Xehanort's HP reaches 0, use Reality Shift when it shows up
- Use Doublefight + Balloonra during all attacks except X Attack, heal when needed
- Tag 30 Soras, then spam Balloonra against Armored Ventus Nightmare until White Room or he reaches 0 HP
- Heal before scripted event when he's at 0 HP, then time your attacks properly to finish him off

KH DDD Any% Speedrun has been completed!! Nice!
