  1. 8:14 PM - Sanagi: Hell, another thing I could do is to make a bloody statue to honor various things I or other Minecraftians on the server could have done. Hell, that's the main reason I first created a Shinto gateway in this game: To celebrate an accomplishment of having found the rare stalk of reeds so that we could make paper, and from that, books, and with THOSE, bookcases! To add a nice decorative touch to the Angry Spider Enclave. Hehehehe.
  2. 8:15 PM - Shogo_Khan72: ...Heh.
  3. 8:17 PM - Sanagi: Considering I had to cover a distance of roughly 2 to 3 ingame days worth of travel to find the damn stuff. At least once I got it back, they were able to start a garden of their own so that I wouldn't have to repeat that trip, NOR the insane wanderings I underwent before Caw simply decided to say fuckit and warp me back to the Enclave.
  4. 8:24 PM - Shogo_Khan72: Yeah. I remember that.
  5. 8:24 PM - Sanagi: Heheh.
  6. 8:24 PM - Shogo_Khan72: ...But yeah. I somehow doubt I'll ever get Minecraft, at this rate.
  7. 8:25 PM - Sanagi: You and your pessimism. Like 20 bucks is going to hurt you that much.
  8. 8:25 PM - Shogo_Khan72: Not that.
  9. 8:25 PM - Shogo_Khan72: Do you have to get this over the internet?
  10. 8:28 PM - Sanagi: Ah yes, "the internet"...your paranoia over such an abstract and ultimately ineffective a thing is noted, but we suspect the Get--...Oh, wait...I'm not Executor Pallin.
  11. 8:28 PM - Shogo_Khan72: ....
  12. 8:28 PM - Shogo_Khan72: I wasn't supposed to laugh there, was I.
  13. 8:29 PM - Sanagi: Eh. I'm certainly laughing.
  14. 8:29 PM - Shogo_Khan72: Well, I'm not.
  15. Shogo_Khan72: ..Regardless. I'm not going there, again.
  16. 8:44 PM - Sanagi: Regardless, you're only screwing yourself out of some good fun.
  17. 8:45 PM - Shogo_Khan72: ....Are you trying to provoke me or something?
  18. 8:46 PM - Sanagi: If it only takes facts to do so, then yup!
  19. 8:47 PM - Shogo_Khan72: Could I ask WHY, then?
  20. 8:49 PM - Sanagi: Because you're STILL screwing yourself out of a deal, and honestly, I pity you all the more because of the fact you're doing it.
  21. 8:53 PM - Shogo_Khan72: ..And the part about it pissing me off? Unwelcome side-effect?
  22. 8:55 PM - Sanagi: Nope. Intentional attempt to alienate you in the hope that either A: you break at last and finally lapse, B: You commit suicide and I'll finally have escaped the eternal madness that is trying to get you to properly integrate with the ultimate end-result of society, despite what either you or I might wish, or C: you remove me and I'm also finally done with you, like the 2 times I have before that you seem to have confused with accidental removals that were aimed at someone else.
  23. 8:55 PM - Shogo_Khan72: ...No, not really.
  24. 8:56 PM - Shogo_Khan72: I'd assumed what'd happened with the last two. I'm not stupid.
  25. 9:00 PM - Sanagi: And yet you added me back. Hrrm. ...The implicatons of this require more study.
  26. 9:02 PM - Shogo_Khan72: ...Do you REALLY, REALLY think I want to be stuck talking to JUST that imbecile?
  27. 9:04 PM - Sanagi: Clearly not. But the way you talk with people, it's little surprise you're so often ostracized. You are difficult to share the unique machinations of media found on this cybernetic library, and your opinions, though worth sharing laughs with you about, are also equally isolation-inducing considering the atmosphere of the modern world, and how the reaction would pan out should they be openly expressed.
  28. 9:06 PM - Shogo_Khan72: ..Not like I need their attention, anyway. Too worried about nothing. Too worried about their stupid, inferior selves..
  29. 9:08 PM - Sanagi: As is any human being, even in the most collective of governments. It is this basic drive of self-interest that kept the original man alive, worrying about feeding himself. It has simply been expanded into a technological behemoth that may not fit the original drive, and yet said drive cannot even be evolved out of, as it is the key drive to any creature's survival. Self interest above the interest of the many is the status quo, even for the tiny amoeba.
  30. 9:08 PM - Sanagi: ESPECIALLY so, for the amoeba, now that I consider it.
  31. 9:10 PM - Shogo_Khan72: Uh-huh. Only these people're too stupid to contribute anything.
  32. 9:14 PM - Sanagi: Ah, 'tis merely a matter of finding their potentials. Who knows? Given the proper environ and effort, I'm certain some little Nigerian boy could potentially become the next founder of a company much like Microsoft in success.
  33. 9:15 PM - Shogo_Khan72: Sure. Someone with the drive and determination, perhaps. Someone who never had luxuries growing up; the possibilities are endless, there. But the average American child?..
  34. 9:20 PM - Sanagi: ....We're semi-average American children. Teens, sure, but we were. And look where we are now? Prepping for college, most likely. As is most of the American nation's youth. Some may deserve it. Some may not. But that is not for me to decide, MY fate is for me to decide. The others can go prove themselves as need be, but I'm not one to meddle, even if they seem not to deserve it in my eyes. Mark Zuckerberg, for instance. He had skills and drive, certainly. And I STILL say I'd shake his hand despite never wanting to use Facebook.
  35. 9:22 PM - Shogo_Khan72: Where did I mention semi-average? I mean the completely average dumbshit. The one with no prospects.
  36. 9:25 PM - Sanagi: The jocks. Yes, but society will phase them out given time. We need merely wait. There's still plenty or opportunity for the rest to make the world better.
  37. 9:27 PM - Shogo_Khan72: True, true..
  38. 9:29 PM - Shogo_Khan72: ...Okay, okay. I'll relent, here.
