- Reinez clung to the Chaos Marine, feeling the muscle squirming beneath his gauntlet. This creature would die with him. No Space Marine feared death- but every one feared dying without doing their duty to the God-Emperor. Reinez inwardly rejoiced that he would not have a pointless, unsung death.
- The dark green oblong of the Chimera whirled up towards him, and with a scream of torn metal Reinez and the Chaos Marine smashed into it like twin meteors.
- Reinez's vision blurred and swam. He was in a deep sharp pit of shredded metal, the tall towers of the administration district swirling high above him. The pallid bulk of the Chaos Marine hauled itself over him, blocking out the blue-grey morning sky of Entymion IV.
