- I feel kind of like a sponge sometimes. It’s just that I’m so easily influenced. I’m really into punk music, and every time I listen to certain songs that I really like, I decide that I need to start a band. Whenever I’m in a big reading frenzy and I’m just reading book after book after book, I start thinking about how I should write some books of my own, as if I had the attention span or grasp of the English language. I’m the same way with comedy; I really like listening to and watching stand up comedy, so now I’m trying to do it myself. It’s like I can’t just be a fan; I have to get my finger prints all over everything, like a grubby child. I guess I just count myself lucky that this facet of my personality doesn’t spread into more aspects of my life. Like, I really enjoy food, but I’m not planning on becoming a sandwich. Or I guess a Chef would make more sense. Who cares, right?
