+ ever since she was young, Katherine had always been a free-spirited child, who enjoyed excitement and new experiences. She loved meeting new people, helping her sibling and feeling like a key part of the family. Growing up in the UK, she only ever spoke English, after her Dad’s Chinese heritage wasn’t particularly strong. However, she always had a strong connection with her Chinese ethnicity, and would always keep up with that side of the world as well as her own. When she was 9, she discovered Kpop, after seeing a Chinese music video by a Korean pop group. She loved the style, and since she had been attending the local dance group in her town and received singing lessons at school, the more she learnt about the entertainment management in South Korea, the more she fell in love with it. After a year of practising and trying to convince her parents to let her go to audition at least. Her parents were very close to her, and at the young age of 10, they didn’t want her to miss out on a normal childhood. But they also wanted her to chase her dreams, and so agreed that she could audition for an entertainment. After researching and researching, Katherine decided to audition for YG Entertainment, one she had heard many good things about, and sent her audition video to them asap. Soon enough she was invited to a private audition in Seoul, and attended despite her young age, the company took a liking to her character. A few months after the audition, Katherine was accepted, and attended YG Entertainment as a trainee from 2012 through to early 2017, when she was then transferred to have an interview for a new entertainment, Elysian! She lived with a guardian while young in South Korea until she was old enough to live in the dorms on her own with other trainees. The journey was tough, but she never gave up, desperate to make her family proud and catch her dream.

personality: Katherine is a very energetic character, who loves to learn new things and also be social with other people. Her attitude towards anything is always to work hard and make her family happy and proud of her accomplishes.
