Battle Over the Domain - Session 1

<DM>	*You are in a great ornate cavern, lit up with natural light shining in from the north and torches planted on the walls. Directly ahead of you is a pedestal facing a pool of shallow water and a great waterfall with King Zora De Bon XVI sitting atop. To the east is a ramp leading up to the waterfall and to the south are passageways. Along the walls are great Zora tapestries and plaques depicting the Zora Sapphire.*
<DM>	*You can see Zoras running around all over the place, making a beeline to the passages to the south; preparing for battle.*
<Darte>	"Well, this is about the least calm I've seen it around here..."
<DM>	*King Zora looks over to the three of you; Baegba, Nigel and Darte*
*	Darte takes the lead.  "Right, we're here for the big guy, best we follow protocol." He steps up to the pedestal and kneels, head bowed low and head-fin flattened.
*	Baegba pats his stomach, then points at King Zora.
<Darte>	(Oh gosh not already)
<Baegba>	Oi ye be et loik a Goron!
<DM>	[King Zora] Oh ho ho! It's time for us to defend the Zora tribe - the Keaton are attacking again and we need all the help we can get.
<DM>	*King Zora looks over to Darte*
<DM>	[King Zora] Darte Fellshard... in the absence of Ruto, I would like you to lead the Zora into battle against the Keaton army. Take charge and show them the full might of the Zoras!
*	Baegba looks Darte, up and down.
*	Darte pales.  "Uh-uhm.  Your majesty, lead? Not just fight?"
<Baegba>	Oi, dis goiy o'er here looks loik 'e couldn't lead 'imsoilf!
<DM>	[King Zora] Oh yes. What's any use leading the our bretheren into battle without fighting alongside them? Fight and the Zora shall follow
<Baegba>	'e's just a bloody stick!
*	Darte mutters, "Don't have to rub it in, ya great, roly-poly lummox."
<DM>	*King Zora then looks over to Baegba*
*	Darte steps back from the pedestal.
<DM>	[King Zora] Oh ho ho. This will be a great time for Fellshard to show his ability to rally the Zora and bring them into battle!
<DM>	*King Zora returns to looking over to Nigel_Splashberry
<DM>	[King Zora] And fellow Lizalfols, you shall join the Zora in the fight.
<DM>	*King Zora returns to looking at the three of you*
<DM>	[King Zora] And with that, you shall head off!
*	Nigel_Splashberry nods in agreement.
*	Darte nods stiffly, turning to head out. "Guess preparations are already set, at least.  Come on, the front should be this way. Goron, can you actually swim?"

<DM>	*The water here is shallow. Baegba, you have no issue standing in the water. By the way, the blockade of water isn't enough to make you float on it as opposed to standing in it*

<Nigel_Splashberry>	(If anything, he probably just made a dent)
<DM>	(Water density whoo)
*	Darte rolls his eyes.  "Sure, good enough.  We have supplies for the terminally boulderlike if you need them too.  And I've got some potions for breathing in case you fall in."
*	Nigel_Splashberry snickers slightly at the amusement that is Baegba.
<DM>	(Remember Baegba, you've got something that can float you up)
*	Darte points the way to the nearby shop, as best he can spot it through the bustle.
<Baegba>	(oh riiiiiight I have those awesome wands)
*	Baegba equips the Gravity Wands annnnd uses them to float on out!
*	Baegba then hovers riiiiiight on over Darte.
<Baegba>	No, but Oi kin floi!
*	Darte waves his hands in a panic. "Whoaaaah whoah.  Okay, first of all, back off with the flying, that's unnatural.  Second... hmm.  I'll have to try that Gravity Slingshot out on you later."
<Baegba>	(DM, would that... actually work?)
*	Darte looks at Nigel in turn.  "And you; you okay in the water? We'll be spending a lot of time in it."
<DM>	(Yes. Buut keep in mind that Baegba is the projectile here...)
<Baegba>	(OOOOOOOOH BOY)
*	Nigel_Splashberry slightly surfs on the water in response.
<DM>	(Everyone ready to move on?)
*	Darte grunts.  "Right.  Off we go, then." He trots off towards the front lines, plucking up a couple bottles of Sacred Springwater on the way.
*	Baegba refreshes his magic on the way, uhhhh
<Baegba>	(DM, the Zora Shop, is that connected with the Global Shop?)
<DM>	(Yes)
<Baegba>	(cool)
*	Baegba buys and chugs a Green Potion to refresh his magic.
*	Nigel_Splashberry surfs out of the area, following the rest.
<DM>	*You are in a great cavernous space, echoing with the calming sound of a great waterfall crashing down into a large lake taking up most of the cavern. Towards the sides of the wall on the south one can see land; various stairways and inclines leading to pillar and up north along the east side. On the pillar and the south wall are doors. Even though the air is filled with moisture, torches burn on the walls.*
<DM>	*At the exit one can see many Zora soldiers lined up, awaiting for orders. Among the ranks you can pick out Fighters, Guards and a pair of special Zoras with what appears to be an aura of steam.*

*	Darte muses.  "Who here's in charge of this contingent?"
<DM>	*You see a Zora Warrior walk up through the ranks to approach Darte*
<DM>	[Zora Warrior] I am, my brother! But you are free to take the reins and take command of our platoon. You shall be carrying the torch Taru held, after all
<Baegba>	(This guy knew Taru? Must be an older Zora.)
*	Darte looks the warrior over.  "Right.  What's your name, what preparations are already in place? I take it this is our rear line?"
<Baegba>	(A real veteran.)
<DM>	(INDEED)
<DM>	[Zora Warrior] I am Lance, grand veteran of the Zora tribe!
<DM>	[Lance] Our front line is already out fighting. These guys will be reinforcements to the front line.
<Baegba>	(oh cool, technically I never cancelled the floating)
<DM>	[Lance] The Keaton boss here... General Nova. The guy's a real tank - Even several siegefin blasts could barely dent him
<Baegba>	8h, 12m | Gravity Bubble'd
*	Baegba raises his hand.
<DM>	Even our steambolts can barely do anything to him.
<Baegba>	But oi was droivin' a real tank, and we's blew that oine up. Are yew sayin' they's gots anoither tank, and it's merged wit' a Keatoin?
<DM>	*Lance looks directly at Baegba*
<DM>	[Lance] ...
<DM>	[Lance] Were YOU driving that tank?
<Baegba>	(HEY, THAT'S YOUR FAULT FOR USING THAT PHRASE IN FRONT OF ME, DON'T YOU BLAME ME FOR MAKING THAT CONNECTION, I'M BEING A GOOD PLAYER BY REMEMBERING)
<Baegba>	Woill, uhh err... Lumin, da Goroiya was da wun droivin' it, but me's helped assist an' blow things up wit' it!
<DM>	*Lance's expression changed back from a stern face to a thankful expression*
<Baegba>	Don't blame me fer da Keatoins chasin' us, we had no choice but ta blow 'em up. Poor tank, dey don't make dem loik dey used to, ya know?
<DM>	[Lance] You did us a service by blowing that tank up.
*	Baegba pats Darte on the back.
<Baegba>	See? Dat's da way ta do things! Just blow dem up! Dat's all da soilutions ya needs!
<DM>	*Lance turns back to Darte*
*	Darte gets a sudden case of PTSD.  "Never. Ever. Give anyone that advice again."
*	Baegba turns to Nigel.
*	Darte gives Lance an out-of-practice salute.  "We're heading to the front line.  If we're running into trouble... I'll send someone back to signal the charge.  Anything we can do to seal this place up behind you if it comes to that?"
<Baegba>	Oi, yew's agree that exploishuns makes everythin' bettah, oi yeah?
<DM>	[Lance] With pleasure Darte. Will meet you later.
<Nigel_Splashberry>	"Fella, I don't believe explosions should be the answer to everything."
*	Baegba contemplates on this...... hard.
<DM>	*Lance turns back to Baegba, this time with a stern face*
<DM>	[Lance] Keep the explosives out of the domain.
*	Baegba looks through his inventory.
*	Baegba wraps the blue tunic around the super bombs, stuffing them further into the inventory.
*	Darte nods faintly.  "There's no way we could rebuild all this if you did.  Plenty of room to explode things _outside_."
<Baegba>	Wot? Wot exploisives? Me's don't really has any. Me's used dem all ta blow up da tank. Definoitely.
<DM>	(Ready to move on?)
<Baegba>	(Ready ready!)
<Nigel_Splashberry>	(yes)
*	Darte nods.  "We'll make it through this, Lance.  Tell your platoon to listen for our voice."
<Darte>	(agogo)
<DM>	[Lance] With honor.
<DM>	*You are in a wide section of Zora's River 100 feet wide. The rapid river pouring in from the east splits in two, one half coursing directly through to the west and the other snaking around the land. The section is dominated by a series of cliffs hugging the surronding mountains, a cliff in the middle and pikes rising out of the river. The land resembles patchwork, the varying heights of which form natural bridges at sections.*
<DM>	*You can see Keaton soldiers crowding around the section, having set up flimsy little shelters as barricades and spikes restrict movement in the area. You can see countless Zoras dueling with the Keaton here*
<DM>	*By the way you are all on the East entrance
<DM>	(Err several)
<Baegba>	(pretty sure if it was countless Zora, we wouldn't need to be here, lol)
<DM>	*At the top you can spy several snipers, firing at Zora who are not behind cover below*
<Baegba>	(by top, you mean on the cliffsides?)
<DM>	(On the cliffsides)
<Baegba>	Hmm, moi thinks me can float on up dere, but me's may gets snoiped down afore oi gets up dere. Any otha oideas?
*	Darte ponders.  "We can set you up with some protection, perhaps.  Or at least some thorns."
*	Baegba equips his Thorns armor.
<Darte>	Or we can use some of those bombs you don't have.
*	Baegba stares blankly at Darte....... then sneaks the bombs out from under the blue tunic.
<Baegba>	Hmm, these super bombs won't reach 'em, herm.....
*	Baegba shuffles through, then... pulls out Bombchus.
<Baegba>	Ooh, Oi hasn't used thesey ones afore!
<Darte>	"... Toy mice?"
<DM>	(At the moment, you can see like 20 Keaton soldiers of various classes around. Blocking the path forward is a group of pirates, a swordmaster and a Sentinel which the Zoras are making potshots at whenever it is safe.
<Baegba>	(Are we near one of the cliffsides, and does that cliffside eventually connect to the side the snipers are sitting atop of?)
<DM>	(Yes, and that is the case of one of the snipers)
<Baegba>	(Excellent)
<DM>	*From your side you can see volleys of razor fin-like projectiles raining upon various Keaton targets; appearing to blind who they hit
<DM>	*Unfortunately, they have been unable to strike anyone on the cliffsides*
*	Baegba tries setting a Bombchu on the nearby cliffside, then eyeing a rough approximation of the direction to the sniper if it were to run across the wall.
<Baegba>	(Can I follow-up something before launching this Bombchu off?)
*	Nigel_Splashberry ponders a bit on what possible actions may be best.
<DM>	(The bombchu takes up a combat action, so yes a support action)
<Baegba>	Hmm, wot would be inconspicuois cloimbin' a wall... oi, a liddle lizard!
<Darte>	"Mind if I grab one of those superbombs? I've got a nice slingshot to try out."
<DM>	*One of the Zoras, a Steambolt, ducks out of cover and fires a Lava Beam at the Keaton Sentinel!
<DM>	*The beam strikes the sentinel square on, melting off almost half its robe*
<DM>	*In the process, an arrow comes whizzing past...*
*	Baegba casts Illusion of Disguise on the Bombchu, making it look like lizard with similar scale color to the cliffside rocks. Should be reeeaaaaal camouflaged.

<DM>	*You look back and you see a bunch of Zora Fighters dogpile the Sentinel with a flurry of blades, drowning them down to death with spells shortly before the swordmaster firing a Super Spin Attack!

*	Baegba points the pair of Gravity Wands at the Blademaster, and uses Gravity Smash!
