final beverage script

Well, that’s it!  We’ve reached the end of the course.
Each of you have a different level of interest in food and food management.
But, all of you now have acquired some very important basics about food and beverage management which will serve you well in your chosen segment of hospitality.
We began the course with a “liberal art” study of the history, culture, and science of food.
We then went from this broad liberal art approach to the very practical training of food sanitation and safety.  In fact, this was so practical you gained a professional certification!
The last half of the semester was spent learning the basics of managing a food operation and we ended with several modules on beverages.
When you think back to the beginning and all you have learned I’m betting you’ll be very satisfied with all the work and effort you have put into the course.
Thank you for being a great class.  I have enjoyed reading your papers and seeing your progress.  I wish you well with your future studies in our program and great future success.
