Taivas went unconscious after the last fight and the group fled to Mito Village. According to Doctor Prostel, Taivas accumulated too many wounds in many fights where he fought recklessly. It should have been very painful all the time but Taivas suppressed it with his mental strength. Taivas went unconscious as soon as his mental strength broke when he failed to protect Lehftia. At this rate, Taivas was going to die unless they obtained Life Activation Herb (jp: katsumeisou). The herb used to be common until it stopped circulating in the market suddenly. Doctor Prostel was reluctant to reveal because of how unreliable it was but there was a rumour about where the herb grew. Runda and Tulien were to check it out while Elmatir were to go back to Helsa to check on Haveh. Elmatir said King Tahto already lost interest in them so there was no worries.

On their way, Runda and Tulien briefly talked about how Tulien stopped trying to die as a hero but to live as a hero because he did not want his travelling companions sad. And they discussed how Snovlinka's closed ones must have been sad when she sacrificed herself. On the other hand, Runda told Tulien how his creator Mage Furze told him to live for himself. Runda still could not fully understand but he was starting to understand as he travelled with them.

Finally they arrived at the cave rumoured to grow Life Activation Herb. However they found fresh footprints outside and thus they decided to proceed with caution. They eventually found the herb but was surrounded by bandits who used the cave as their turf. The reason the herb stopped circulating was because the bandits monopolised them. As the two groups were about to fight, the bandit chief Balaga (jp: baraga) recognised Tulien and was apparently Tulien's comrade back when they were in the same bandit group. He suggested them chat in their stronghold instead.

Scene shifted to researcher Guilma performing testing on Lehftia, being excited that Lehftia's compatibility with Omega kept increasing. It was almost like she would give birth to a new Omega. Yshe was displeased at how they treated Lehftia. As the sword she ordered for her final showdown with Taivas arrived, she muttered that it might become the sword for them to fight together. (Sword yes, although she uses spear)

Scene shifted back to Balaga, Tulien and Runda. Balaga said that they only entertained politicians or rich people but would gladly give Tulien for free due to their old friendship. They headed for the storage where the herbs were stored but a pair of siblings were locked there too. Apparently they were also to be sold. Balaga prepared a feast to celebrate their reunion and left. Tulien did not want to start a trouble since Taivas life was depending on how smooth their venture went. However, Tulien could not bear to watch the siblings suffer and wanted to rescue them. Eventually as Tulien demanded Balaga to free the children, Balaga revealed that he intended to kill Tulien after making him drunk during the feast for the bounty anyway.

Tulien and Runda were overpowering the bandits. Tulien expressed how he did not want to fight Balaga because Balaga did save him back then. In the flashback, child Tulien was begging food from Balaga. After finding out that Tulien had no parents or any adults to depend on, Balaga offered Tulien to join them and announced Tulien as their new brother. Balaga kept reminding Tulien of his past sins throughout the fight and deceiving Tulien for openings. However, Balaga died in the end without changing his way. Tulien commented that he understood of his sins and would not stop atoning. After sending the children home, they managed to deliver the herb to Taivas. Back in Mito Village, Taivas and Haveh woke up and they were to set off for Omega excavation site. Scene shifted to Guilma and Lehftia. As Lehftia compatibility rate exceeded 200%, the facility suddenly stopped working. And Lehftia muttered in a robotic voice "Destroy... everything... ". Guilma wondered if it was Omega before scene ended.

>> Rain

Capital was in chaos with the Omega-looking machine. Ilskah and Mulen were watching from a balcony. Ilskah commented that it was just an Omega imitation but Mulen commented that civilians would not know and would just cower in fear. Ilskah ordered to have the entire Caledfwlch back to protect the country. Scene shifted back to Rain's group against Vanharma. After commenting that Wygar would not come, Vanharma escaped. Rain's group decided to chase after him and Mezze parted ways there. As they were about to move, Nini announced that the Vanharma mission was forfeited and they were to return to the capital Lorestan (I forgot how I named this and didn't see an official spelling for it, but jp: rōresutan).

As the group arrived back at Lorestan, Nini announced that the officials named the Omega imitations as Proto-omega. And apart from the group, only Malsalga was in Lorestan as others were not back from dispatch missions yet. With the number of Omega species there, they speculated that Ihana is there as well. As the group was surrounded by too many Omega species that they could not move forward, Askah showed up and they managed to clear the path. Askah speculated that they sabotaged Wygar transport system but as Caledfwlch they had to manage the situation somehow. Ilskah and Mulen noticed that the Proto-omega was heading towards the castle without situation, as if knowing a specific something is there. They wondered where the information was leaked but they had to protect their last hope at all cost.

On their way they came across many people that needed help. Rain wanted to help them but Askah urged them to move forward to stand against Proto-omega as the regular soldiers would arrive soon. Rain protested but Neilikka revealed that Askah had a little son living close by and his wife died early. In Askah heart he should really want to rush to save his son but there would be more damage if Proto-omega was not to be stopped as soon as possible. Rain was finally convinced.

The group finally faced Proto-omega. They would not destroy it even by the combine efforts of Roca's Stop and the four Caledfwlch's Mark of Transcendence / Blood Awakening. They also noticed that it was the Proto-omega that destroyed the children's facility back then. As they were in a pinch, Malsalga attacked Proto-omega in Wygar, saying that he equipped Wygar in the headquarters without using the transportation system, hence the late appearance. Malsalga acknowledged that with his Wygar alone he could not destroy Proto-omega and ordered Askah to take Rain to Vanharma. Neilikka asked Nini to go with them to serve as a means of communication.

Neilikka wondered why Rhus was obsessed with fighting Rain (because they mentioned it before Rain left), Rhus replied that he would obtain the power to save the world if he fought Rain and won, and muttered to himself the power to protect Neilikka. Nini managed to track the location of Vanharma to lead Askah and Rain over there. Scene shifted to Vanharma and Ihana as Ihana left to send more Omega species into the chaos.

Rain and Askah faced Vanharma but could not damage him. Askah grabbed Vanharma and asked Rain to cut them both and he would self-detonate, saying that he would gladly pay his life to stop Vanharma. However Rain thought of Askah's child and refused. Vanharma said that Rain's kindness was not a strength but a weakness, but Rain insisted that his reason to fight was to eliminate sadness, so he would not abandon anyone's life. Meanwhile Ihana focused her Omega species to keep Malsalga busy while Rhus, Neilikka and Roca were having a hard time against Proto-omega.

Scene shifted to Physalis and Guri enjoying the breeze. Then suddenly Physalis felt a pain as if something important to her was hurt.
