Interview Turndown Letter

After given time to think, I have to respectfully decline your invitation to an interview. I have had previous experience with sales, both commissioned and non-commissioned, and I'm afraid that it's simply not where my talents are strongest. Your company would be better served with a candidate that has talents more inline with the requirements of the position.

Again, I appreciate your interest and would welcome interview offers in the future, to openings that better suit my skills, but for the position discussed earlier today, I have to regretfully decline. I wish you and your firm luck in search of a more qualified candidate.
