- Upon visiting my friend’s house, my definition of the word messy would have been brought to a whole new level. He would get constantly told to and occasionally yelled at to clean his room. Every morning he woke up for school, he would leave his room messy and by the time he got home, he would start cleaning it. As soon as you enter the room, you are greeted by a smell reminiscent to food. The smell, although pleasant, was caused by candy wrappers and other packages that he left out on his bureau. Next to his bureau was a desk which had a stinky feel to it if you laid your hand on it as if he spilled soda on it and never cleaned it up. Also, all of the tops of his furniture were unorganized with a whole bunch of random things and they were dusty as well. Along his bed, there were clothes such as shirts, jeans and socks that he wore days ago and just left them out. Next to his bed, there was a trash bin filled to the top and even some of it on the floor next to the bin. All over the floor, there were papers everywhere that he accumulated from school. These papers ranged from previous homework or homework that was never completed, to papers that had important information on them. In his closet, there were clean clothes everywhere as if a bomb went off in his closet. My friend would be a lot more organized if he would take the extra minute to clean his room every morning and make his parents happy.
