31.
Greetings, Ralph!
32.
33. On behalf of the D Language Foundation, I would like to thank you
34. once again for your generous support. Donors such as yourself
35. enable us to do the work required to support and expand our
36. community, such as organizing the annual DConf, sponsoring
37. students and their academic work through scholarships, completing
38. specific tasks to improve the D language and ecosystem, and a
39. whole lot more. Every donation, large and small, is one more
40. valuable step in furthering the growth of the vibrant D community.
41.
42. In the past, we have expressed our gratitude by means of private
43. email and by doing our best to put your donations to effective
44. use. Now the time has come to extend our gratitude to our
45. supporters publicly.
46.

47.
Early in the new year, we will be adding a new sponsors page to dlang.org to proclaim to
48. the world the names of those whose generosity has allowed, and
49. continues to allow, us to keep the dream alive. We aim to include
50. on the list the name of every sponsor who grants us their
51. permission to do so. The amounts of the donations will not be
52. listed with the names. However, the names will be sorted in the
53. list in descending order based on the donation amounts.
54.
55. So I write you today to humbly ask for your permission to include
56. your name on our list. If you would like us to do so, please
57. respond in the affirmative. If you'd like us to
58. use a form of your name that differs from the name used when you
59. made the donation (Ralph Alexander Bariz), please include that
60. as well. If you do not want us to include your name on
61. the list, then you need not reply. You still have our undying
62. gratitude and are free to drop a line to social@dlang.org at any time
63. if you happen to change your mind.
64.
65. Once more, thank you. We wish you the best in the coming new year!
