  1. Pizza’s Judgement of Criminal3x vs. Spider Manectric
  2.
  3. Alita vs. Nightcrawler:
  4.
  5. This is a close match. Alita is strong, has good piercing, and attacks and reacts quickly. Her feats were consistent, and Spider didn't even attempt to contest them.
  6.
  7. Nightcrawler isn't quite as strong or durable, but his teleport provides a big advantage. Whether that would be enough to give him a win seemed like the deciding point. If Alita can hit him before he teleports away, or as he appears, then it's over; he's sliced to pieces or takes a gun wound that'll lose him the match. If he can keep from getting hit, then he can freely damage Alita until she's done for.
  8.
  9. Both debaters, unfortunately, relied on linking long albums of feats/antifeats that they clearly didn't make, or even look through closely and offer detailed interpretations of. Please don't do that. It's not even hard to make your own albums. Don't grab one and assume more feats = winning. Showing consistency is good, but you still need to offer interpretations, if you can fit them in.

  11. Having looked through myself, Nightcrawler seems inconsistent, but generally on that level. It helps that Spider went in depth on a few specific feats, though he was arguing against some points that Crim didn't actually make. Many of the antifeats of Nightcrawler getting tagged very obviously came from fighting those who know him and his typical strategies. It doesn't reflect well on Crim to not acknowledge that.
  12.
  13. However, it didn't seem quite good enough for Nightcrawler to outright avoid everything Alita does, when her feats are well-rounded and consistent, and her attacks are supersonic. What seals it is that Nightcrawler's offensive feats weren't impressive enough. Breaking the sentinel by swinging a metal pole wasn't quite on the level where he could outpace Alita in damage.
  14.
  15. Alita wins.
  16.
  17. Zazie vs. Moon Knight:
  18.
  19. Why would you run an out of tier gun like that.
  20.
  21. Yuma vs. Crossbones:
  22.
  23. There is little to say about this. Criminal opened by presented several impressive feats for Yuma in every category, and then asserted that Crossbones had nothing that could compare. And he was right. The argument that Crossbones can keep fighting when wounded doesn’t help, because Yuma won’t just wound him, but will cut his head off. Crossbones’ reaction feats were subpar, treated as bullet timing without the paneling implying anything close to that. The interpretations, like him swinging out of the way on a rope making it a better speed feat, were extremely questionable.
  24.
  25. I would criticize Spider for not making stronger arguments why Crossbones would win, not just keep up, but it’s not his fault. There was simply nothing to work with. The feats weren’t good enough. Next time, run a better character, and you may see much greater success.
  26.
  27. Yuma wins.
  28.
  29. Criminal3x wins 2-1.
