- While and because it’s at the start of the strategy, Lincoln gets a 3 Jojolity, as it “feels like an afterthought within the strategy rather than given much focus.” Simply stating that you are following the rules of boxing is insufficient for reifying Philosophy Jojolities through mechanical plays, especially when there are comparatively few tactical plays. For example, I mentioned ‘swarming’ earlier, and even within the shorter strat, going in depth on how that boxing style informs the approach to engagements, making sure they’re as brief and overwhelming as possible.
- Casco gets a 9 Jojolity for not only resolving to win on Rounds for its strategy, but using tech and tactical decisions informed by boxing rules and etiquette. The tactical decision to clinch against The Boxer but the forbearance not to rely on it for all its defensive value was the exact kind of thinking that cut this above a simple 8.

- Again beginning with Lincoln, it seems the core thesis of this strat’s JoJolity is following the Marquess of Queensbury Rules as laid out in the beginning of the strategy. A solid play, to be sure, but limited in scope, especially as the cited rules are all prohibitions - while many of these banned tactics certainly feel like things that Lincoln could get mileage out of were he not hewing to the rules, making it a genuine play, the positivist side of JoJolity is left a bit lacking, again beyond “Punch him until he goes down.” This isn’t a bad JoJolity, and you cited your sources well enough to convince me that real research was done, so it still gets a reasonable **5/10**.
- Casco, meanwhile, kinda blows this out of the water by comparison. The rules research on display goes beyond those items that are and are not allowed, and gets into everything about how the sport functions - scoring, rounds, styles, and techniques. The entire strategy is built around achieving the tangible win conditions found in the real sport on the macro level, and on the micro level, just about everything on display is built around real things found in boxing, and used appropriately to their level. From the minimal but well-cited use of clinching to the Double Dempsey Roll (using the real physics and strategy that propelled Jack Dempsey to so many victories rather than simply making an Ippo reference), I was consistently impressed with what I saw on display. An easy **9/10** in my opinion.
- …My JoJolity delibs were longer than my Quality. That’s a rare one.

- Casco:
- Incorporating various boxing techniques into your strategy, I’m going to give this an **8/10**. Between the different defensive measures, footwork finisher and use of boxing structuring and terminology I think it gives an accurate sense of the spirit of boxing.
- Lincoln:
- I’m just going to give this a **4/10**, nothing wrong it’s just a mostly standard beatdown. You do pay respect to the rules of boxing at least, but it doesn’t play into the spirit of boxing as much as it could have.
