7:52 PM - Ramona Boone: It's closer to a fancy Southern plantation house than a more traditional tier 2 mansion, with a large porch, and where a garage would be, a small hangar like building. The many trees on the lawn hold several bird houses, full of occupants chirping away. In a strange (for the area) sight, an American flag flies proudly from a flagpole, and country music can be heard streaming through the open windows.
7:52 PM - Ramona Boone: "Man, it's good to be home!"
7:54 PM - Sarah Salem: "You have quite a nice house."
7:55 PM - Ramona Boone: "Yep, daddy takes good care of the place, always tell me it's just like the house he grew up in."
7:57 PM - Sarah Salem: "It's definitely different from any other home here."
7:59 PM - Ramona Boone: "Mhm, he made sure of it! When he got tranfered here, he refused to give up his way of life, and man, it is such a great way to live" I land on the sidewalk, running up the lawn to knock on the door "Daaad! I'm here, brought a friend, and don't worry, she's not a nerd!"
8:00 PM - Sarah Salem: I hop off of Ramona's back and stand beside her at the door.
8:09 PM - Contract Fast: "Ramona, honey! Welcome home. And whose this friend?"
8:09 PM - Contract Fast: he calls back from wherever he is in the house
8:11 PM - Ramona Boone: "Sarah, another magical girl! We're coming in alright?" With that, I push the big white door open and run inside, towards the voice
8:12 PM - Sarah Salem: I follow behind Ramona. "Oh, he knows about magic?"
8:13 PM - Ramona Boone: I nod "Helped me from day one! Makes sure I don't run out with a gun I don't know how to use, or that I don't forget ammo or anything stupid!"
8:14 PM - Sarah Salem: "Aren't we supposed to use /magical/ weapons? I assumed they were necessary, seeing as how everyone gets one."
8:15 PM - Ramona Boone: "Even magical guns need training to use, unless you want to break your arm firing an enchanted deagle or something!"
8:16 PM - Contract Fast: You go through your house and towards the sound of the voice, ending in a little workshop, where your father stands before a workbench with a disassembled rifle laying on a towel before him
8:16 PM - Sarah Salem: "You can break your arm using it? That doesn't sound very effective."
8:17 PM - Ramona Boone: "If you don't know what you're doing, or if you're a scrawny ner-" I gasp, seeing my father and throwing myself at him in the best attempt at a hug I can muster with one arm "Dad! So happy you're back, I missed you!"
8:20 PM - Contract Fast: He brushes your hair back before jolting as he notices your lack of an arm
8:20 PM - Sarah Salem: I stand awkwardly to the side, watching Ramona tacklehug her father.
8:21 PM - Ramona Boone: I speak up before he can comment "Okay, I know I know, but there's a really fucking cool story behind it!" In such a rush to explain, I don't even stop to catch myself swearing

8:22 PM - Contract Fast: "...I'm listening."
8:24 PM - Ramona Boone: "So, we were chasing a youma, and, and this big monster came out of nowhere in this cave! We were with a regular girl, and I didn't want to risk it, so I grabbed a grenade, pulled the pin, put it in my fist, and gave that thing the last punch it ever saw!"

8:24 PM - Ramona Boone: "...Later, protecting the nerd again, I had to throw myself infront of a horde of zombies, but she was totally fine in the end!"

8:27 PM - Ramona Boone: "Well, dual wielding is out the window, but, if I practice really hard, I'm sure I could handle the big guns one handed! I used a shotgun while the stump was still fresh! Maybe if you let me into your personal army I could have something even better to practice with..." I attempt to pull a pair of puppy eyes on him as I say the last bit

8:32 PM - Sarah Salem: "I don't know for sure, but with magic anything should be possible."
8:33 PM - Contract Fast: "We'll get you your own armory, but for now, you're still not mature enough. I managed to get through life without exploding my arm off, and even if it /was/ a really cool story, I don't think you're ready for it yet."
8:33 PM - Ramona Boone: I turn to give her a death stare, being only a little bit of begging away from getting into the vault, before dropping it to turn back to dad. "Oh, looks like Sarah's got me covered then!"
8:38 PM - Contract Fast: He looks at Sarah, "You can make my little girl a new arm?"
8:39 PM - Sarah Salem: "I think? I've never tried it before, but I cannot see it being too difficult."
8:43 PM - Ramona Boone: "See, she's a great friend dad!"
8:44 PM - Contract Fast: "We'll just have to see how it turns out, but if you say she's good, I see no reason to doubt her. For now."
8:45 PM - Ramona Boone: "And uh, permission to take over the man cave for a movie night? She's never seen any giant monster movies dad, and that's terrible!"
8:47 PM - Contract Fast: "Granted, soldier. You show her the best damn movie we have."

8:53 PM - Ramona Boone: "Cmon Sarah, we got the basement, you don't know how awesome that is!" With that, I grab her hand and yank her out of place, dragging her downstairs
8:54 PM - Sarah Salem: "Uh, nice meeting you!" I blurt out to her dad as I'm stolen away.
8:54 PM - Contract Fast: He waves as you leave before returning to his rifle
8:57 PM - Ramona Boone: I drag Sarah into the basement, most of which is dedicated to the (currently) locked up armory, a corner of it, however, has a couch, a minifridge, a popcorn machine, and a projector. The tile floor is polished, and the walls are lined with framed movie posters of all sorts, I look like a kid in a candy store, finally being able to show a friend. "And here's the man cave! It's so coooool isn't it?"
8:58 PM - Sarah Salem: Sarah stares vacantly at all the unidentifiable heathen technology.
8:58 PM - Sarah Salem: "What is that? And that. And that." This continues for a few minutes as she points at everything in the room that isn't a couch.
8:59 PM - Ramona Boone: "...Oh man, you don't know what any of that is? Okay, okay, let's start from the top" I point to the mini-fridge, realizing this is a potential source of hilarity
9:01 PM - Ramona Boone: "That's a teleportation box. Climb in, and you're teleported to a freezer full of infinite drinks!" I open it up, carefully removing the shelves, making room for Sarah
9:02 PM - Sarah Salem: I look on in wonder and crouch inside the mini-fridge.
9:02 PM - Sarah Salem: "How does it work?"
9:03 PM - Ramona Boone: "Our model is fancy, you gotta scream the manufacturer's name, Immadorc, as loud as you can, then shut the door! Boom, teleported"
9:04 PM - Sarah Salem: "That sounds oddly specific. Are you sure?"
9:05 PM - Ramona Boone: "Teddie, I know it's weird, not having seen one of these before, but trust me, it's super convient!"
9:07 PM - Sarah Salem: I look at her skeptically but comply, yelling "Immadorc!" and slamming the door.
9:07 PM - Ramona Boone: I wait a few seconds, before opening the door with a straight face "Shoot... Servers are down I guess, gets like that if the network is busy."
9:09 PM - Sarah Salem: "I have no idea what any of that means." I climb out of the mini-fridge. "We'll have to try it later, then."
9:10 PM - Ramona Boone: "Yep, for now, we just have these reserves!" I hold up the glass bottles of root beer and cola that were in the fridge before hand, before restocking it now that Sarah wasn't inside"
9:12 PM - Sarah Salem: "...Is that alcohol?"
9:13 PM - Ramona Boone: "Nope, soda! Delicious bubbly goodness" I toss her a bottle of root beer, taking one myself "Trust me, daddy would have my head if I had alcohol here!"
9:15 PM - Contract Fast: roll physical to open the bottles!
9:16 PM - Sarah Salem: I catch the bottle and wrench it open. "Oh. Interesting. So what is everything else here?"

9:17 PM - Ramona Boone: I point to the popcorn machine "Alter to the god popcornius! If he accepts your prayer, he shall reward us greatly"
9:19 PM - Sarah Salem: "Reward us how?"
9:19 PM - Ramona Boone: "You shall see! Kneel, and utter a prayer!" I lean against the wall, putting my hand over the switch, waiting for her to do as commanded
9:22 PM - Sarah Salem: I nod, getting on one knee and bowing my head. "Oh great popcornius, please grant us your blessing this night, I beseech you."
9:22 PM - Ramona Boone: With that, I flick the switch, the machine coming to live and kernels beginning to pop, raising my arms "Lord popcornius accepts your prayer!"
9:24 PM - Sarah Salem: I flinch and jump back from it, spilling soda across myself. "Woah, what is all that?"
9:25 PM - Ramona Boone: "We call it... Popcorn! Yeah there's machines that do the prayer for us now, mostly at movie theaters and stuff, but I prefer the old fashion way!"
9:26 PM - Sarah Salem: "That sounds blasphemous. I'm surprised they have not been smote for offering false prayer."
9:27 PM - Sarah Salem: I look down at the soda staining my sweater. "I think I need a towel."
9:27 PM - Ramona Boone: "Lord popcornius is a gentle god, he accepts all offers, from man or machine!" I take one of the paper bags from atop the machine, and fill it with popcorn, before buttering and salting it. "Hmm, would napkins be fine?"
9:29 PM - Sarah Salem: "Yes, thank you."
9:30 PM - Ramona Boone: I grab a fistful from a stack next to the paper bags and hand it over, offering some of the fresh popcorn "Here, have some of our lord's gift"
9:31 PM - Sarah Salem: I dry myself off and try some of the popcorn gratefully. "So, what are these 'movies' you keep mentioning?"
9:33 PM - Ramona Boone: "There are these little disks. They contain little mini universes, and we use boxes with super big magnifying glasses to watch what happens!" I run over to the bookshelf full of DVDs, pulling out gojira and showing her the DVD "Like this!"
9:34 PM - Sarah Salem: "Amazing. Is it magic?"
9:35 PM - Ramona Boone: "Nope, science!" I put it in the DVD player connected to the projector, turning out the lights and plopping onto the couch
9:36 PM - Sarah Salem: I take my seat right next to Ramona, eyes glued to the magnifier.
9:38 PM - Ramona Boone: I put the popcorn in my lap, chowing down as I watched the movie start, trying to hold in the giggles from everything Sarah had been told
9:40 PM - Ramona Boone: "I still cant believe you've never seen movies, or a shrine to lord Popcornius, or a teleportation box!

9:44 PM - Sarah Salem: I nod and scoot closer to Ramona. "You've been quite helpful so far. I didn't know any of these things existed."
9:45 PM - Ramona Boone: "What else are friends for?" She grinned in the darkness as she saw Sarah get closer
9:49 PM - Sarah Salem: "By the way, is there anything specific you want out of your arm?"
9:50 PM - Sarah Salem: "I'm just thinking over some ideas for it."
9:50 PM - Ramona Boone: "...Can you put a gun in it or something? Wait wait, better yet, a grenade launcher! To make sure any and all grenades I deliver in the future will be from a distance, heh..."
9:51 PM - Sarah Salem: "I don't know how either of those work, so probably not."
9:51 PM - Ramona Boone: "Daddy taught me how to put a gun together, clean it, all that! Get a working frame, and I'll handle the shooty bits"

9:55 PM - Ramona Boone: I giggled a bit at that one, holding it and nodded, shifting my focus to the movie, just as the star was making his first apperance!

10:50 PM - Ramona Boone: I stand there, trying not to move as Sarah took whatever information down she needed "That good enough? Getting bored of standing around here"

11:26 PM - Sarah Salem: I empty the bag onto the table, organizing the parts and getting to work immediately.

11:31 PM - Contract Fast: with your neatly organized parts, you begin constructing a basic frame for the arm. This takes about an hour or two to appropriately fashion a rig to Ramona's stubbybits

11:32 PM - Sarah Salem: ((oh by the way, i'm building a small cannon into this))
11:32 PM - Sarah Salem: ((figured i should mention that))

11:33 PM - Contract Fast: You fashion a basic skeleton for the hand and fingers, allowing them to have natural articulation
11:33 PM - Contract Fast: this takes about the same time
11:34 PM - Contract Fast: roll again
11:34 PM - Sarah Salem: 14
11:38 PM - Contract Fast: You fashion some movey bits that connect to the harness, and Ramona is able to begin moving the arm in some basic fashion
11:38 PM - Contract Fast: it's nowhere near normal, but its getting somewhere
11:38 PM - Contract Fast: roll again
11:38 PM - Ramona Boone: "Man... This is so awesome Teddie!'
11:38 PM - Sarah Salem: 14 once again
11:39 PM - Sarah Salem: "Thank you, but I'm not done yet. Just wait until everything is in place, I have a surprise."

11:42 PM - Contract Fast: You place in more movey bits and it's more and more moveable
11:42 PM - Contract Fast: it's now pretty much done for the movey bits, and moves mostly like a real arm
11:44 PM - Ramona Boone: "Aww yeah, high five!" I hold up the new arm, waiting for said high five
11:44 PM - Sarah Salem: I highfive her metal arm.
11:44 PM - Sarah Salem: "Alright, pass it back. Finishing touches!"
11:44 PM - Contract Fast: roll again to add in a cannon
11:45 PM - Sarah Salem: 16
11:46 PM - Contract Fast: You remembered to add in extra room inside the actual arm, where you put in a cannon that can be accessed by flipping the hand aside on some hinges
11:47 PM - Sarah Salem: "And, done~"
11:48 PM - Sarah Salem: I smile and present Ramona with her new arm-cannon.
11:48 PM - Ramona Boone: Looking at the finished arm, I smile like a child on christmas, and put it on, before pulling Sarah into a bear hug
11:48 PM - Sarah Salem: "Okay, let m-Woah!"
11:49 PM - Sarah Salem: I return the hug. "I guess that means I did a good job."
11:50 PM - Ramona Boone: "A very good one teddie! Man, you are the best friend a girl could have, you know that? I promise I wont blow this one up!" She put Sarah down, before calling out loudly "Dad! Come in here, look what Sarah made!"
11:52 PM - Contract Fast: He comes in. and seeing your new arm, looks surprised. "So soon? It's only been a few hours!"
11:52 PM - Contract Fast: he extend his hand for a high five
11:53 PM - Ramona Boone: I go in for the high five, laughing like a mad man "And, check this out!" I show him the (currently unloaded) cannon mode!
11:53 PM - Contract Fast: "And a cannon? Hot damn, can you handle that?"
11:54 PM - Ramona Boone: "I grenade punched a giant monster in the face dad! I'm not that young and weak anymore, I'm a force to be reckoned with!"
11:55 PM - Sarah Salem: I stand off to the side smiling at Ramona's excitement.
11:55 PM - Ramona Boone: "I can give em the one two punch, and then? Boom! Ahaha, this is great, it's like an upgrade even!"
11:56 PM - Contract Fast: "Well, please try not to lose another limb, honey. You don't want to worry dear old dad, do you?"
11:58 PM - Ramona Boone: I sigh, hugging dad "I promise I'll be careful daddy... But I'm not a kid anymore, it's getting dangerous out there, that's kinda part of the profession you know?" She grinned "Hopefully it wont take another accident to prove to you I need some heavy support"
11:59 PM - Contract Fast: He hugs you back. "You'll always be my little girl, no matter how good of a shot you are."

12:00 AM - Ramona Boone: I turn to face Sarah, pointing at her with a smile "You have to thank her for all this though... Don't know what I'd do without Teddie"
12:01 AM - Contract Fast: "'Teddie?' Heh, well, thank you for all your hard work." He holds his hand out for a handshake
12:01 AM - Sarah Salem: I return the handshake. "It's not a big deal. I'm just glad it works."
12:02 AM - Contract Fast: "We all are, I'm sure."
12:02 AM - Contract Fast: so it's sunday evening now
12:02 AM - Contract Fast: I think now's a nice time to stop
