//The Sans Brothers// is an //Undertale// AU (alternate universe) by **Mighty Jetters**, centered around the events of the daily lives and shenanigans of two brothers, **Reven** and **Sans**, each one being a heavy modification of a Sans from two of her other AUs; the older brother, Reven, is based on the Sans from //Revenantale//, while the younger brother, Sans, is based on the Sans from //Insansity//. When discussing different versions of the same characters exclusive to specific AUs simultaneously, their names will be prefixed with the following AU labels:

The story, presented in comic-form, is a mostly-episodic sitcom-esque cartoon with elements of comedy, drama, heavy lore, and character development.  It starts off mostly light-hearted, akin to your average Saturday morning cartoon with no real plot points to follow. However, as the series progresses, so does the story; the characters grow and change, discover their backstories, and improve their relationships with one-another. During these moments of development, the characters will often experience deep, complex feelings or emotions that can be considered relatable.

As a nod to the original //Undertale//, some characters will speak in a specific font or style; for example, both Sans Brothers will speak in all-lowercase Comic Sans font, unless they are raising their voice to emphasize certain words.

===== Plot =====

Both Reven and Sans live at home with their parents, **Lucida Sans Console **and **Dr. Wingdin Gaster**, in a fairly large, friendly town by the roadside known as __[town name]__. An episode (a single comic page) typically consists of bite-sized scenarios featuring the family or, more commonly, just the brothers, doing crazy things together, having family bonding or even just simple but amusing sibling bickering. Other times, the brothers will find themselves taking on missions, usually to stop an assortment of villains from executing their nefarious plots. These adventures are brimming with action, danger, and at times, character development. Sometimes, the brothers' disagreements can overshadow the mission at hand or cause them to temporarily "break up", until one or both of them step up to resolve the issue(s). Despite that, they love one-another more than anything in the universe and always have eachothers' backs whether they're mad or not. When they do work together, they can achieve anything, which they have to realize time and again.

As the story progresses, changes that permanently alter it take place, causing it to occasionally shift from an episodic format to a more plot-driven one. This includes Reven finding out about his past and true potential, the brothers revealing all their deepest feelings (and mending their bond as a result), Sans finding the ambition to improve upon himself, and more. At times, they will be forced to make choices that test their morals.  Others, they'll find themselves in tough spots where they barely make it out alive. Regardless, they will do everything in their power to maintain world peace, even if it means having to skip a meal along the way.
