- +2 Strength, -2 Dexterity, +2 to any one mental ability score: Therosphinxes are strong and sagely, but are somewhat clumsy. The mental ability score bonus is chosen at character creation and cannot be changed afterward.
- Medium: Therosphinxes are Medium creatures and receive no penalties or bonuses based on their size.
- Fast Speed: Therosphinxes have a base speed of 40 feet.
- Darkvision: Therosphinxes can see in the dark up to 60 feet.
- Claws: Therosphinxes possess a pair of claws. These are primary attacks that deal 1d4 points of damage.
- Paws: A therosphinx’s paws are more dexterous than they appear; they can use magic items such as wands and staves normally, and can even wield weapons. However, therosphinxes take a -4 penalty to all attack rolls with manufactured weapons, due to their paws’ odd shape.
- Quadrupedal: Therosphinxes are quadrupedal creatures. They have a +2 bonus to their CMD against trip attempts, and have the increased carrying capacity of a quadrupedal creature.
