- :::::::Chapter 147 Breakdown:::::::
- In the car, Tarou reflects on the event where he managed to physically touch Eve. Overcome by the excitement of the moment, though, he doesn't quite recall what it felt like, nor does he understand what exactly happened.
- Kazuki asks Tarou if they had seen Dad's first love zombie (FLZ), which she deduced was the case based on Ririsu and Tarou's peculiar behavior. She assures Tarou that he can talk to her about it, as she is their ally in this whole mess. Tarou tells her that he's pretty sure what they saw was indeed Dad's FLZ.
- Regarding Dad's FLZ, Kazuki asks what she, or rather 'it,' looked like. Tarou gives a sharp yet cryptic response about how Dad's idea of 'first love' was warped by his fascination with the concept of a First Love Zombie, and this led to his first love being a manifestation of his idea of what a First Love Zombie would be rather than being inspired by an actual woman. Kazuki astutely reasons that her dad's obsession with the abstract concept of First Love Zombies has led him to develop a strong fascination with Eve in particular.
- Ririsu interjects, and asks Tarou to tell her when Eve showed up. Tarou looks up and asks Eve, who says that she pretty much popped in there before she knew it and doesn't quite understand what happened, herself. Kazuki is intrigued by the fact Tarou can apparently have normal conversations with Eve. Eve acknowledges that Kazuki can't see her, but still cheerfully says hello to her as if Kazuki could.
- Ririsu speaks up again and asks where Eve is right now. Tarou tells her that she's right above him. Ririsu seems a bit surprised, and half-heartedly replies "Oh, I... I see."
- They arrive at Ririsu's family's estate. Kazuki encourages Tarou to spend the night at "Ibusuki-Kun's" house. Ririsu and Tarou both tense up at the suggestion, but Kazuki explains that Tarou's simply not safe to be around Dad after what happened today. As Dad is returning to America the next day, one night would suffice. Kazuki then doubles down and says with a big patronizing grin that because Ibusuki's house is so big and they ARE BOTH MEN, there shouldn't be any problems. Ririsu is a bit perturbed, but agrees that it's the only choice they have in light of these extreme circumstances.
- Tarou and Ririsu both enter the compound and run into Ririsu's Mom and Suzuko. At first, Suzuko is upset because Ririsu ditched her all day, but quickly is startled by the sight of Ririsu dressed up like a pretty girl right in front of Tarou with both of them disheveled and apparently wounded. Mom asks what happened. Ririsu strongly emphasizes that for various reasons, she had to DRESS like a girl, and that because Tarou had a quarrel with his Dad, he would be staying over at their house that night. Mom and Suzuko are too shocked and excited to deny her.
- Tarou mentions to her Mom that Ririsu is apparently sick with a fever, but Ririsu brushes it off as she walks away, saying she feels fine now that she's calmed down. She leaves to go inside the house as she redirects their attention toward Tarou's wounds as if they are the more pressing matter.
- Cut to Ririsu's butt in the shower because these manga ain't gonna sell themselves, kids. Ririsu reflects while standing in the shower on the events of the day, and inevitably comes to the most important event of a day full of important events: The Kiss. She curls up a bit with an embarrassed and lustful expression conveying complex feelings and emotions as she wonders why he kissed her so suddenly. As she thinks back on it, she figures out that he had mirrored the farewell kiss from 10 years prior. She says, "It's too late, now."
- Back in the other room, Mom helps dress Tarou's wounds. She asks how it happened, but he says that he just fell down. Eve watches everything from above. As Eve thinks back to when Tarou touched her, she stares at her own hand, cradling it with the other, as she smiles wryly, blushing. Suddenly, she begins to feel uneasy and confused about what has transpired, and perhaps is starting to revisit some of those nagging existential questions about what it means to be a First Love Zombie and what is the chief end of her existence.
- Ririsu puts on her increasingly unconvincing 'boy costume' and walks into the room to talk to Tarou. She notices Eve is not with him, and ponders to herself if she's ever actually had a real one on one conversation with Tarou before. Just then, Tarou says that he just heard from his sister, and she says that nobody knows where his Dad is. Apparently, Dad had called his wife (Tarou's Mom) and asked where the Ibusuki Estate is located. They both look out the window and they see a Tornado of Souls coming closer, which Ririsu believes is likely aiming to abduct Eve again. Tarou says that if this is how it's gonna be, he should go and await for him to return home.
- He tells Ririsu that in reality, his Dad is thinking that he could steal Ririsu's powers with the headbutt method. Ririsu gets a Metal Gear Solid panic alert. Ririsu quickly changes the subject telling him that he has to escape and take Eve with him. She asks where Eve is, telling him that he needs to get her to safety.
- Tarou, puzzled, tells her that Eve has been right here in front of her all this time.
- Everybody is wide-eyed and surprised. Eve timidly calls out, "Ibusuki-Kun?" Tarou asks "...can you really not see?"
- Ririsu quickly changes the subject again, saying "Yes! I see them! I can see your dad's tornado of First Love Zombies as clear as day!" Ririsu then asks calmly "You're joking, right? Eve isn't really here, is she?"
- Eve gets right up to her face point-blank, stares her in the eye, and says "...I'm right here." Eve naively wonders aloud why she is the only one Ibusuki cannot see.
- Ririsu wonders to herself: "Don't tell me... it's because of that kiss..."
