Super Heroes revival story

   Once upon a time there was a world called Earth-DM. A mysterious "Aurora Event" caused the planet to develop super humans; at least more so than it already had. This Earth already had a history of super heroes and entire government run groups of them across the globe; ranging from cyborgs to magicians to mutations. The Aurora Event simply increased the number and intensity of these powers. This world also drew to it cosmic individuals seeking to become heroes, and shards of mana from Rhulan Rokonaka from her mana well to create links to various worlds for a grand power channeling that was disrupted when she was turned to stone. In this way two shards of her mana empowered two individuals to become the super heroes, Golem Gal and Galaxy Girl. As well two avatars of Rhulan projected from her dreams appeared on this world, the seldom seen "Cataclysm" and the more permanent dream projection Ryo-Yoshino. These four alongside Xin the Cat Witch, Red Squid, and Singularity a world eater, formed the team "Galactic Guardians". When this Earth was invaded by the Ju-el empire this team stood the best chance of defeating them. However Junelia the Sorceress of Science was backing the invasion secretly and took down the Galactic Guardians with her overwhelming cosmic power, as well as knowledge on how to depower the members, taking away the amulet and ring that gave Golem Gal and Galaxy Girl their powers, trapping Singularity inside a containment device, Red Squid inside a wand, and cutting off the dream projection that resulted in Ryo-Yoshino. Xin however turned out to the be daughter of Salaena the Sorceress of Splendor and was able to save the two friends who had been depowered, however the others being cosmic beings had to fend for themselves.

   Centuries would pass, Billy and Kat have been given new powers as Shemandra and Gravity Girl respectivly as new magic empowers them; however other cosmic powers have appeared taking on the personas of Golem Gal and Galaxy Girl with greater power; this new Gravity Girl even claiming to have been the original Gravity Girl who had to leave Earth-DM before Kat go ahold of the mana stone and took up the name with different powers and costume. Singularity and Red Squid would be freed of their imprisonments by pure chance on another Earth where magic objects were dumped by the Ju-el for unknown, possibly experimental, reasons. Ryo-Yoshino is once more part of Rhulan as she has awakened, the cataclysm of Ki transformation, the memories however of her dream self having adventures are remembered though. Singularity has been slowly working on getting the team back together and even recruited new members, the prismatic parasite hosts Slither and Jack O' Lantern, as well as a few others from that Earth, Emily the Shinigami, Kelly a pink haired woman blessed with demonic power by the demon lord Rossette, and Rick a man covered in shifting tatoos made from human blood and eldritch ink. Tracking down Golem Gal and Galaxy Girl has been difficult as they have been jumping between worlds doing super heroics going on adventures.

   ******

    -mean while-

    A spiral blue portal opens on a hillside and from it emerges Slayer-X and ExZelia.

   "I owe you for saving me from her," says Slayer-X, "however I do not know who or what you are and why that eldritch being called you sister."

  "Well," says ExZelia smuggly, "just to avoid any oh no revelations later; she sensed our common parent of course...well...sort of, yes and no. Its complicated, you see we are from the same species, in a sense, these energy beings; to keep it simple; who can physically evolve and create various avatars and transformations with different powers, limitations, and even personalities for the most part. I can't; I'm not that old. That Queen of Puppets, she can. In fact there is a chance she has been seen in a different form and no one knew it as she wasn't giving off that same aura."

   Slayer-X's eyes are studying the strange girl before her.

  "Any who," says ExZelia, "my mother, one of them, was also one of her parents but in a different form. She sired me in a more human like form, as an Aesperian, a race of super humans with magic powers; she sired the Queen of Puppets as a giant tentacle monster in the depths of the dark waters below Hell. The spiritual essence is the real them though so our souls are their children even if biologically we are not the same."

   ExZelia strikes a pose, "So I am a kick ass super human with elemental powers. On the last world I visited to fight one of my other world conquering siblings they called me Elementra thanks to my elemental powers; guess I could just use that code name here too if the coming storm is anything to go by."

   "Hold on," says Slayer-X, "first...other siblings? and second coming storm? What do you mean by these?"

   "Well," says ExZelia, "Blue Stinger and Rhudra, Blue Stinger is another where we share on parent but the other came from a species of world conquering insectoids. I was fighting her forces of Bug Bots and weird monsters for a while; Rhudra is a bit scarier though...she conquers nations for fun and then just leaves them; she turns people into powerful vampires to serve her. She has left behind entire vampire dystopias in her wake. There is a bunch of family politics keeping our parents from stopping it, but I am on equal footing and I won't let my siblings think they can just push around humans for their own amusement unchallenged."

   "Data accepted," says Slayer-X, "and the implication of; coming storm"

   ExZelia looks to the western sky, "I flew here not just for the Queen of Puppets, I got word heroes were appearing on this world, but a secret government agency was trying to keep them underwraps, someone else has been hanging around this planet building up a team, someone who most likely intends to bring super heroes...and super villains to this Earth; for a Contest of Power."

   ******

   -Hours later-

   in a motel ExZelia sleeps in a bed, Slayer-X who does not need to sleep is using her android mind to scan frequencies and the net for signs of dark dwellers and other threats to pursue; even the most top secret of secure encrypted deep web sites are not secure from her. Meanwhile ExZelia dreams, in her dream she is standing amidst a ruined city, the fallen remains of giant robots defeated by swarms of robotic bug like soldiers and giant bio-mechanical insectoids; the multi-colored uniform pilots all dead. Atop some rubble she appears, her body a blue and black insectoid carapace in the shape of a woman patterned like a wasp with black stripes but stiff and hard like armor, even her fingers are claws and what passes for boots is really her claw toes held stiffly together. Her pale exotic face sticking out of the blue armor of her neck and head like a mask of flesh with the dark blue splotched black tendrils resembling bio-mechanical braided hair frame her head like a hood. Her over sized solid blue eyes studying ExZelia. This being is Empress Blue Stinger.

   "It is over," says Blue Stinger, "I have won, do not be ashamed little sister, you are simply too young, too inexperienced, and too powerless to have ever defeated my armies. Even teamed up with the human champions chosen by the Divine Thoughts and the Manazit; they never stood a chance. But if you want to oppose me again little sister, here."

   ExZelia had in that moment been telepathically shown a listing for another Earth, a temporal cast off from a protected Earth with supernatural potential; one where even an Overlord Tournament had to be diverted off the planet; and has been selected for another Contest of Power; something Blue Stinger has taken advantage of several times now to bring in her armies, even limited per the rules of "villain esculation",  on how many "monsters" she could deploy; yet against chosen human hero champions by the so called celestial beings her swarms have won out in wars of attrition and actual military tactics of conquest.

   This much ExZelia had told Slayer-X, The Queen of Puppets was already on this planet, playing the role of a monster abducting and turning her victims into dolls; yet she too may have been building an army as Exzelia speculated to Slayer-X, under the name "The Doll Collector", she even participated in the Overlord Tournament yet dropped out, out of boredom. But has returned with wooden soldiers and cliche monster henchmen. Slayer-X divulged to ExZelia this is not unheard of, sometimes this eldritch being will attack a world with her dolls forcing out "heroes" to fight her; confusing the heroes as her schemes and actions make no sense, are often random, and would never work to conquer a world only cause chaos. They are two heroes from different worlds chasing two seperate villains; and worse yet, these two villains may themselves soon collide in the coming conflict.


   ******

   -That same night: deep in the desert at a secret facility-

     "We have called in Dr. Becket, he and the captured wood golem specimens should be arriving in two days. Make sure the lab is ready. Accordig to the body cam footage tansmitted by our fallen soldiers we will need to know everything we can about this new threat."

   High in the air above the nightime desert a blue portal materializes and from it a woman wearing a white sorceress outfit with gold trim, her long straight brown hair adorning her white cape as she studies the landscape with her brown eyes that shift into golden cat eyes to see better in the dark. This woman is none other than Hollia. She manifests a circular green sigil in her hand and studies it, a dot on the sigil indicating the same location as the fenced in military base ahead of her.

   "The Inferverse Cube is there," she mumbles to herself, "it is a wander these people havn't set off a mystical apocalypse already."

  She *sighs* and with a twist of her hand conjures up a swirling silvery blue energy that encapsulates her and turns her invisible. Hollia glides through the air to the base following the signature of the Inferverse cube. The guards are non the wiser and she can tell the place is guarded yet not as heavily as she would have suspected for a desert base given her own experiences with military facilities in deserts. She phases through the walls like a ghost sensing the facility has some mana suppression crystals surprisingly yet not very strong ones, these crystals would have a hard time suppressing even the most basic of magically inclined creatures on Aesperia. Which she realizes should the Inferverse cube be triggered and the mystical monsters of the Inferverse unleashes these defenses would be completly useless against anything but the lowest level of mystic monster.

   A few guards come and go as she makes her way down to a storage warehouse, shelves lines with drawers with electronic locks; however something draws her attention. Hollia can sense human life energy coming from some of the drawers. She turns tangible and yanks the drawers open by brute force shattering the locks. Inside she sees a doll of a boy and a doll of a girl under mana suppression crystals. She flicks the containers breaking them and pulls the dolls out setting them on the floor. She holds out her hands a large green sigil appearing under the dolls which turns white as a pair of like sigils appear before her palms.

  "In the name of Maekonaka, goddess of purity I release and restore."

  A brilliant flash of white light and a boy and girl are now standing there, crying. All of this did not go unseen as guards rush into the room, rifles drawn. A man in a labcoat appearing behind them looks at the scene, the two children hiding behind Hollia.

  "I am Dr. Becket," says the man, "chief researcher of cursed artifacts at this facility. I have alot of questions for you, as does the general. For starters how you even got in here, and what that was we saw on the cameras that you just did. Those children were cursed by a living puppet called Killer Alice, a servant of a dangerous entity called the Doll Collector and..."

  "Why are you telling this intruder all that!?" shouts a man in a uniform arriving, "This facility is for containing, studying, and controlling the supernatural we do not have guests; and those children have seen too much; their parents already think they are dead so take that woman into custody and ship those children off to the sacrifice....why the fuck am I saying all this?!?"

  He stares wide eyed at Hollia, "Shoot that thing!"

 A massive cyclone of green and blue forces them back, when it clears Hollia is gone. The children find themselves standing in their living rooms their parents scream and crying as they embrace them, a telepathic emotion coming from the fading white light of happiness.

   Meanwhile back at the desert facility Dr. Becket and the general are completly unaware that Hollia is still there, invisible and intangible. Observing them. She has followed the general as he leaves the facility his words nagging at her, despite her mission the information unveiled by the exposition aura spell she discovers the location of a holding facility where children and other people taken off the street or bought and sold via human trafficking are being held in cages and being forced onto a truck at gun point. She follows the truck flying above it as it goes into the middle of the desert where a pack of humanoid lanky creatures are waiting. Just as the blindfolded and chained people are being led out of the truck Hollia uses a sleep spell to put every human and the creatures to sleep. She summons a sigil under the captives, the blind white light sending them to where their minds found the most joy, some returning to homes who thought they were gone to be greeted by surprised family, others appearing in their old neighborhoods.

  Hollia however back in the desert releases her spell standing a short distance from both parties.

  "Trickery!" shouts one of the pale lanky creatures, "where is the tribute human? the elders will..."

  It is cut off as a barrage of ice spikes impale them, killing the entire group. The soldiers fire on Hollia at the general's order, however her blinding speed easily out paces the human weaponry and with a shout of, "Goddess Wind!" a massive green cycloen devistates them, shredding through them and the truck.

  The general is battered and broken on the ground as Hollia stands above him, "and to think, I'm the merciful one." before blasting his head off with a solid air blast.

   Her words were heard on his radio by other members of "The Society" who would come out to investigate the slaughter, noting the "sacrifices" to keep the peace wiith the local dark dwellers had vanished without a trace and the dark dweller collectors slaughtered alongside their own troops. None of them would realize however that she had returned to their base and absconded with the Inferverse cube, using lock breaker magic to remove it and close the drawer it was in without anyone ever realzing it.
