At some university festival, you (the speaker) are helping out your club at the first aid tent. Your best friend ditched their club's booth to come and hang out with you. After some banter, they try to leave, faint and are brought inside the tent where you give them some TLC with the whole lap pillow-head pats combo. This leads to you confessing your feelings, kissing, etc.

The script opens as the listener walks up and hits you with the age-old "Hello nurse~" line.

[concerned] Wait, are you ok? You're not feeling sick, or hurt or anything, are you?

Oh my god, you're just ditching them? [sarcastic] Wow. Real mature.

Whatever liar-liar. I hope those pants burn your ass too! [laughs]

Mmhm. It's a pretty slow day. Campus has been surprisingly idiot-free today. I don't think too many people are interested in learning first aid either.

I mean, it's great that there haven't been any accidents or stuff like that. Just makes our jobs a bit less interesting.

Yeah you collapsed when you tried to leave. I thought you told me you were staying hydrated?

[stern yet caring] Well of course I'm going to worry about you! Don't joke about that stuff! You need to take better care of yourself. As much as I would like to, I can't be with you all the time!

[actually stern now] No, shut up, this is concerned friend talk now! You are *going* to listen to me.

And you're going to stay on my lap until I say you're well enough to leave!

[softer] I mean, yeah, you're on my lap.

No- its just- These infirmary beds are kind of uncomfortable. I thought this would be better, so I- You know what, fine, go sleep on those trashy mattresses.

[smug] Thought so~

Yeah, the prez helped me carry you in here.

Hm? No. No one's going to come in here. She closed off this part of the tent to give us some privacyyyy- no. She didn't. No she didn't.

Don't worry about it, ok? This heat's melting my brain. I'm just saying whatever at this point.

Well, obviously, there'll be times when I'm not, but we're talking about *your* health here.

Mmhm~ So make sure you're eating properly, and drinking enough water and all that stuff. I'm pretty sure you already know what you need to do. So make sure you do it, ok? It's super important that you- [sigh] fall asleep right in the middle of my speech.

I would be annoyed if that wasn't so cute.

/listener stirs and mumbles/

[muffled squeal] Oh my goodness, don't make those sounds! How can you be so cute?!

[minor freak-out] I kind of want to shove you off my lap because I really can't handle this right now.

Wait...are you actually sleeping? Because you know, if you are...I might just...try something...

/speaker leans down for a kiss, listener stirs and wakes up, speaker freezes/

[flustered] Um...I, uh...hi...?

[frantic] No, I wasn't! It's this heat! It's crazy right now! You're dehydrated, so your vision must be all messed up! I wasn't actually- [sigh]

You're not going to believe anything I say, are you?

[annoyed that you have to say all this, words just come tumbling out] Ok fine! I leant in to kiss you! Is that what you wanted to hear?
