Guys I want some advice from people like me that work on the IT industry.. I work with a company I admin their Server that run a specific app that runs 24/7. I am in midle of my BS in Computer Science and have A+ and Net+ certs
the guy that was the admin before me ran the app in windows, and they payed 300 for the server monthly I reduced the cost, to 100 monthly by changing the server to another company and using linux. The app has been stable for 9 month now and no problems at all. So they see I don't do much now because I got the server running perfectly. I also do customer support and program and install the devices that communicate with the clients when needed ( about 3 times a month)
So now they have a perfect system runing above their expectations but as they see me dont doing too much in the office they start asking me to do websites for their families bussinesses, prepare flyers and adverticements wich I normally do with out any hessitation but lalely they started sending me to the street to put flyers in cars advertaising one of their companies. Like if I am some advertisment dude
