- Buy the external domain first or have client give you access to their domain provider.
- Go to the domains section on godaddy and click DNS > Add DNS hosting
- Fill in the domain adress and click next to get the relevant godaddy nameservers
- Go to the external domain registrar and update the setttings to use the godaddy nameservers (ns.##.domaincontrol.com)
Ok so thats the domain and DNS sorted
- Navigate: Godaddy > Hosting > Addon Domain
- Create new addon domain. Use the exact URL (remove www.) - The fields will be automatically filled for you. If you would like FTP access set it up here.
- When setup you can use filemanager, Installatron or FTP to uplaod relevant files.
