Embrace

I feel bad that Embrace is going into R3 without any true feedback about her performance, so i’m gonna do that real fast.

Batman Who Laughs: Seems to be a lot of riding Batman’s coat tails. Some of this scaling is working better for me than others. “Explicitly faster than Batman” is as good and clear as it gets. The durability and strength scaling in particular strike me as a bit iffier, and the skill scaling doesn’t work for me at all. Being a cellular copy of someone doesn’t mean that you have all of their skills, using that scan to imply otherwise is a misstep in my view.

Nightwing: All of the arguments here basically equate to “is the tier setter”. All of the same scans are used, as well as most of the same argumentation. I think this is a bit of a misstep, as it should be fairly easy for anyone willing to read the character+ is familiar with tourneys to find feats that contradict these exact numbers. Being pinned down to exactly “is 1ms, 160mph striking, 80mph running, has these striking feats” from round one makes it pretty difficult to shift your position later.

Mysterio: The scaling to Hardrock for the striking definitely doesn’t work for me as there’s no real indication for how much Mysterio hurts Spider Man with a strike vs how much Hardrock does. I wouldn’t rely on scaling this much in general, especially to a storied character like Spider-Man who famously is all over the place in stats, but do what you gotta do i guess.
