By pure accident of birth, Antaeus resembles the stone of Dragonhome. By virtue of his life of hard work and dedication, Antaeus is known among his fellows as a rock -- bedrock, that is, a foundation upon which much in Elisheba’s domain rests.

He came under Elisheba's services as a demolition expert, though she'd sent for a skilled architect to assist in the construction of the clan's cathedral. Being the son of dignitaries has given Antaeus an easy-going, affable nature when dealing with royalty of any kind, so he merely bowed and grinned and said building a building had to be as easy (if not precisely as fun) as knocking one over, so he'd be happy to "give it a shot."

As it turned out, construction (much like diplomacy) goes over easier if you at least look like you know what you're doing, and Antaeus has enough confidence to see him through Her Eternal Majesty's projects to great success. Indeed, much of his confident front is bolstered with genuine pride in his accomplishments -- he’s as proud of his ability to build sweeping monuments to Elisheba’s power as much as his ability to forge powerful alliances for both his newfound home and the place of his birth.
