- [23:29] Hades Task says, "Going to get things for booste-"
- [00:01] The task child would begin his walk, more like a limp, of shame back to the manor. He knew a special route that would let him avoid the prying eyes of the square. Though he couldn't avoid Hades' and his entourage as he entered the house.
- Going to his room, he would fill a bowl of water as he often did after training, ceremoniously undonning the bloodied rags, and placing them into the water, turning it's color a more crimson hue.
- He would stop as he got to the notes he took on his left arm, from his earlier discussion with Thalis. He was thankful the blood did not smear the ink too much. He would cut the rag from where the notes started to where it ended, and would hang it up to dry.
- As the rags soaked in cold water, Revan would assess his injuries. "One broken nose.. Seven cuts.. Ten bruises." He'd say with a sigh. He would jot the numbers down in a journal, one he kept explicitly for this purpose. It served as a reminder, allthe defeats, all the pain, all to grow stronger.
- Flipping through the pages, he would look back to his previous injuries. While not particularly devastating, he hadn't incurred so many injuries since the early days of his Father's training.
- "I'm falling behind."
- Mixed emotions welled up in his throat as he muttered the words aloud. Hades took to magic very well growing up, and Valero chose a blade than to follow in their father's footsteps.
- I will rise above. I am the eldest son of Dun Task, the Clown Prince. Greatness is in my-
- His train of thought would be stopped, fetching some ice for his bruises, and wrapping gauze around the cuts, none seemingly needing any stitches, as well as some gauze up his nose. This ritual was all too common for him, almost second nature. Though he would think back to growing up with his brothers, looking after them and treating their bruises and cuts.
- "Greatness is in.. Our blood."
- He would remind himself, though he was here alone, tending his own injuries with no aid, he knew they all came from the same place.
- Hearing a knock on the door, he would reach for another set of bandages, quickly wrapping up to go answer it.
